With Milner as the first sub to come in for a striker and Barry the first sub to come in for a midfielder. Balo, AJ and De Jong will lose the most minutes from this Stacked squad if injury does not play a role. WHich as we all know, it always does.
Now go ahead, say your worst. :)
No real ball winning midfielder. Will be hard to break down possession when we come up against the big team's.
Leaving aside the issue of dropping NDJ, the basic problem with that line up is that it will take an awful lot of work to make it completely effective. Its a big departure from our established set up, especially dropping the second DM. Yaya and Silva will have to substantially adapt their games. Tevez would also have to substantially change his role. And that's the elephant in the room. TEVEZ WANTS TO LEAVE THE CLUB.
Whilst Tevez wants to leave the club, it makes complete sense to try to still make use of him. Use him as we did on sunday as an impact sub, use him to cover injuries or rotate him and Aguero to keep Aguero fresh.
But it makes absolutely no sense to waste a minute of time on the training pitch trying to "fit" Tevez into the side. It makes no sense risking dropping points by playing an experimental line up just in order to accommodate Tevez. He could be gone on 1st January,
