When Ederson played it straight through the lot, KDB etc fell over their own feet or tried Gerrard/Beckham style smartarse touches.

We were just poor.

It's one of the things that Liverpool do to us. Wagner must have been talking to Klopp. Eeasy to sovle by using a double pivot - but Pep doesn't use this tactic in England.

Today was a day when we weren’t quite on it, energy was a bit low cos of the heat and the occasion... but most of all cos Huddersfield fought and defended like lions

Damn - I was hoping the gap over the rags would be 19 points today.
Will have to hope the Hammers and Watford put the rags on the ropes and that we get wins in the next games.
I expected the game to be tough as Huddersfield are fighting for survival and players would put their bodies on the line to get something out of the game.

The highlight of the match for me was Ederson helping the stewards out by trying to grab hold of the lad who invaded the pitch whilst the game was still in play.

Not his job. You can get sent off for violent conduct against spectators.

That lad came back on during the pitch invasion at the end having escaped the swcurity.. Was quite funny!

Not really. Got away from them twice. I'm not sure whether others took their cue from him but he took our slim last chance of winning the game. Daft stewarding - spread out rather than concentrating on the aisles... then no attempt to stop anyone.
