Hughes and his status, from an "insider"

All this does is reinforce the feeling that Elano's lost it, especially since Robinho arrived. Does anyone remember that first video of the squad training and Elano's jumping all over Robinho and throwing him over his back..? Then the sulks, speaking to the press, stupid hair-do... Like I've said before... He has to go! OK he did well for about 3 months when he arrived but he does next to nothing positive since...

It also reinforces what I think about Hughes... And that's he won't stand for any shit... Which is just fine by me!

Come on Blues, get a good win in Spain and at The Hawthorns, then also stay unbeaten, at least until New Year, and shut some of the Gloom & Doomers up!

We all feel passionately about our club. We all want it to do well. We are all worried with the current form. We all have a right to express our opinions. But here we have a rumour abour Hughes and another about Elano. Wouldn't it be much better if instead of jumping at each other throats for blaming/supporting Elano or Hughes (in almost every thread these days), we all start to think together about what is best for MCFC. We all have a common goal and some differencies in opinion of how to reach it. That is no reason for the current influx of millions of over dramatic knee jerk reactions of a spoilt fat kid that had received only 5 bags of crisps instead of 6 for his in-between meal snack. Some of the recent threads are just painful to read. Lets put our faith in the club. The manager, chairman, owner, players, groundsman, tea lady etc. they all want the club to do well. They don't want to fail. Yes there are problems but we will overcome them. I was crying 5min before the end of 'recent' game at Wembley thinking can the world can't get any worse. Now look at us!! Richest club in the world. FFS. Lets get some fucking optimism going. The manager and the players will feel it. We were nowhere to be heard against Everton. If this forum is a micro version of COMS opinions then we need get ourselvers into order. CTID.

I agree with your sentiment fb but have you thought that in an effort to overcome or a step in overcoming them changes to personnel both on and off the pitch may be necessary.

We talk about stability as if changing a manager destabilises the club further.

Its fairly early days but I see little evidence of that in the case of Spurs, Sunderland, Newcastle and West Ham and as I said earlier some Managers know there time is up after a short time in a new post be it for a whole host of reasons.

You are right about the money at the club but if its not used wisely and in fact used extremely poorly you are better off without it as such.

We have underperformed now for a good 42 games but focussing on the 17 this year 5 wins from 17 games is gnerally speaking relegation form and thats were we are at presently.

Do we stick and hope things will improve or do we act now and hope we follow the fortunes of Spurs for example under a new manager.

Why not? He can ship Elano out in jan and the problem is sovled?

Until he falls out with the next player with an "attitude" he doesn't like. It's much easier than managing people isn't it, and not likely to be a problem when we bring in the likes of Bellamy, Samba, Heskey etc. Yay for Hughes.

Very very true... trouble is, he's in it up to his neck... but he doesn't see it that way.

I have faith in the Arabs... hopefully Hughes and Cook will both be dismissed.

All three would be an improvement on Elano...

I have a feeling if one goes the other goes as well scorer but I would be deluding myself to think that replacements will necessarily turn things around for the better as Harry as done at Spurs.

The new manager has to be one that can galvanise a squad very quickly and as I said managing City sucessfully is the hardest gig going in the premiership it seems.

Personally I want the side to win every game possible starting on Sunday and if we get a run that keeps Hughes in a job for another season I am all for it because its team success on the pitch that interests me and excites , I don't particularly care who it is managing that assists in that as long as it happens.

Either way its going to be an interesting Christmas / New Year at City and I am pretty sure at least one more manager will be shown the door before seasons end in the premiership.

that elano for me is the trouble in the squad ..who thinks hes fucking special good on you hughes should have made him do a hundred lines aswell
