so your saying all fans who love their club and pay their money should always just sit there like they have had a frontal labotomy with inane grins on their faces like a village idiots convention, fans upset when there team plays crap what a novelty, please let us know what we are alowed to feel oh superior one
what and you think that booing and criticising players is going to spur them on, somehow that doesnt work.
And you think we should sack our manager after 11 games, because that won't upset the team will it, sacking hughes will solve everything won't it ? clueless.

I would say there is a very good chance things will improve.

We need a winner as a manager, Hughes has done fuck all and we should not be his training ground.

Go out City and get a proven manager.

Agreed. Would Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal or Vermin have Hughes as a manager? I don't think so.

But to be honest, they are, or atleast were, better clubs with better reputation and they had the option to choose their managers from the best whereas we would have had little chance signing the same managers.

Wasn't Hughes one of the front runners for the Chelsea job when Grant got fucked off ?
So i guess chelsea would have him as manager
if the phrase 'dodged a bullet' ever applied it would be for that situation.

No I'm saying that he signed players he was ablle to sign and one's that he believed were better than what we had and thus far that is being proven. All I am saying is that he maybe didn't and wouldn't be able to get first choice targets ala Terry that we could undoubtedly afford.

We can only get those players once we have made the step into the Champions league so to expect us to be competing with Chelsea Manu U and Arsenal is unrealistic

We would have more chance of signing 'those' players if we convince them we are a serious proposition.

With Hughes in charge we look like we are playing at it.

Let Hughes find out whether he has what it takes on someone else's time. I suspect he doesn't, but I am not enjoying watching him find out.

Get rid, get someone world class in.

firstly we arent the 4th best team in the league
are you saying he has signed bad players that he didnt want?
blaming todays result on the referee is laughable

i accept some of the hughes out brigade go over the top but they are entitled to their opinion, i think with the players we have and the results of late that questions are going to be asked

i dont expect to be competing with them but maybe beating one of the last four teams we have played is not too over optimistic

Did you read that in the Sun? He didn't get the job though did he? They get people in who have won things

I usually keep my own counsel on here but I just can't do it no longer.

Hughes is a plank of the highest order for the following reasons

1. Why have we suddenly started playing like Wimbledon and just hoofing it up and totally cutting out the midfield?
2. Why have a right winger playing on the left and a left winger on the right? particularly relevant given that SWP was beginning to run rings round Jordan who was on a yellow card also
3. Having taken the lead (undeservedly in my opinion), how could he not see that he should have shored up the defence by bringing DeJong on??
4. What exactly do they practise/train on during the week? Not defending by the look of things

I think he's bought very good players, he's just not playing them correctly and for that I hold him directly responsible

I'm hearing this more and more now, and it is the worst of all the justifications for poor performances and results.

It's like saying we should be satisfied with dropping a £20 note and picking up a fiver because if we picked up £50 we would be £30 better off.
