hughes on dunne

what i find odd is why, why would you want our club and manager to fail? i dont remember stuart pearce being slagged off like this, sven lost the plot, what is it with hughes?

closet rags come to mind, i think they are truly fearfull of forthcoming city success.

i can't think of one other single reason, i really can't.

Both Sven and Pearce were able to over achieve with limited resources where as despite the vast amounts of resources MH has taken us no further than under Sven. Its got f*ck all to do with MH as a person or who he played for it all boils down results and if he is able to get them everyone will be on board.

And he's getting the results. 3 games played, 3 wins, 9 points. In the process we've not conceeded a single goal.

If people want to moan then wait until we lose a game first or draw a game that in their view we should have won.

The criticism of him this season is unjust.

Pathetic you know nothing about me what so ever and you are building up this imaginary little picture in your tiny little mind of who I am. The fact is your post aren't positive either just anti against what ever I post. So instead of your vile insults against me personally as I asked lets have a list of MH's achievements and have a proper debate instead of the usual tub thumping that I'm boring or moronic becuase you don't have the interlect to put together a conducive set of points.

Mike, there's nothing to debate. We said all we needed to say in a previous exchange (I can't remember which thread it was, but it was in the last few days...)

I have to say "vile insults" is kinda harsh. The insults I've directed at your are pretty harmless if truth be told. And the sentence in bold above is funny for it's irony on many many levels...

Like I said instead of making juvenile remarks like this is boring I hate hughes etc etc come up with something constructive about what MH has achieved ie challenges the point actually being made.

I find that truly laughable, I really do. The owners took over on the last day of the transfer window 08, official. Yes?
So in effect, Hughes had January to buy players for his first season, Kompany and the players brought in around that area are thought to have been funded by the Sheikh, I'll give you that.

Coming off of the back of Svens dismal second half of the season with players laughing at an 8-1 defeat, out of shape and a bunch with bad attitudes (allegedly) and new players bedding in, does it really surprise you that we had a poor start?

I liked Sven, but I prefer Hughes. Our players actually look fit, not like they're about to keel over at 60 minutes, they're resilient and creative while still having grit all over the pitch, not just in an ageing Hamann.

Thats hardly a yeardstick to evaluate the season 3 games against relegation fodder, but at the same time I accpet we can only beat what is in front of you. Its to early days to start waxing the dolphin over where we are gonna finish but with the next 2 games coming up will be time to sort the wheat from the chaff

We're notorious for not being able to beat the 'relegation fodder' as you labelled them though so it's an improvement if you think of it like that.

Nice to see that old chestnut being rolled out again that memorable 8-1 defeat that set the tone for the entire 08/09 campaign. But lets not forget how much time and money Sven had to turn around a side that were heading for the championship. Being fit but doesn't win trophies but if MH is the right man then lets see the results by christmas.

What a piss weak argument you've just put forward. You don't like the manager because he treats players who he doesn't think are good enough differently, than those he believes in.

Again. Petty. Becoming a running theme with you isn't it...

Well well well. You believe there's a "them and us" division as well. a good manager doesn't create divisions. He unifies a team even if there are those he deems 'not good enough'. A bad manager neglects to speak to others not in his plans forgetting he may just need them at some point.

See the 'theme'?

Read it as 'anti- Hughes' if you want, but bad management is the same the world over.

Sven = relegation form 2nd half ot the season. Enough said.

How many players of his have been successful? Most have dissapeared.

Hughes is responsible for bringing in a team that has won three games so far this season, two away from home. FACT.
