Look Bigga - it's really sweet that you want to play a game of one upmanship with me. I'm kind of flattered since you're probably over a decade older than me. However, the truth is we are never going to agree on Hughes. Something which is fair enough. You are smart enough to not resort to Mike D levels of sleep inducing negativity. But don't come crawling up my arse looking for a fight, then try and take the moral high ground when it's clear I couldn't give one fuck...

Like I said, take a leaf out of certain other posters' books and give the footballing board a miss if you can't handle people supporting their club, team, and manager, collectively...

Pathetic you know nothing about me what so ever and you are building up this imaginary little picture in your tiny little mind of who I am. The fact is your post aren't positive either just anti against what ever I post. So instead of your vile insults against me personally as I asked lets have a list of MH's achievements and have a proper debate instead of the usual tub thumping that I'm boring or moronic becuase you don't have the interlect to put together a conducive set of points.

Dunne always came across as likeable, he was a PL standard CB but I've never rated him as a captain or a leader. How many times can you remember him bollocking people for silly errors, driving the team forward or even showing the sort of leadership and determination that Terry, even though he's a twat, (or others) show as captains for their clubs. I'd have been happy to see him kept as a squad player and, if he really wanted to, he could have done that. All he would have had to do is turn down any transfers and abide by his contract.

With Lescott and Toure coming in he was always going to be 3rd choice and in any organisation when you get rid of a person in authority you make sure that they are not around to disrupt the new guys leadership. If it had been a "normal" business he would have been moved sideways into a non-job or even made redundant under some pretext (effectively what has happened). Why should football players be immune to standard business practices towards employees? In any business, if the management get in a new team and one of the existing members of staff are seen to be not up to standard then they will be got rid of and usually not with a huge payout and a guaranteed job in a competing firm. Add that to the above that you don't pay someone top wages if they are playing a bit-part role and I'm damn sure he wouldn't be prepared to take a 50% paycut to reflect his new status in the squad because of his love for City.

It's hard to feel sorry for someone who will earn more in a year than I will in my entire working life (not counting any bonuses or payouts!).

Mike, there's nothing to debate. We said all we needed to say in a previous exchange (I can't remember which thread it was, but it was in the last few days...)

I have to say "vile insults" is kinda harsh. The insults I've directed at your are pretty harmless if truth be told. And the sentence in bold above is funny for it's irony on many many levels...

Oh the irony indeed. The "Interlect" is stunning.

Sorry, I went to bed when I realised you had nothing to offer.

Conversely, I'd like to add that you take a sip of your own medicine, when City fans, such as I, don't want to Happy Clap, just because of the way results have gone. We support the club, yes, but if we see room for improvement or are worried about problem areas, we'll say so.

That is inclusive of how the club is towards players, whether right or wrong, we are allowed to question the method behind things to seek an appropriate answer. We, also support the club and the team, but that will not stop us questioning the manager's/ board's methods, if need be. We are the heart beat of the club, not them.

You need to give the board a miss if you can't handle people seeking answers. It's a big world with lots to do and lots of other types of Sheep there.

Petty. Again.

Conversely, I'd like to add that you take a sip of your own medicine, when City fans, such as I, don't want to Happy Clap, just because of the way results have gone. We support the club, yes, but if we see room for improvement or are worried about problem areas, we'll say so.

Happy clap? If I were to post "you don't like Mark Hughes because he played for United" - you'd be spitting chips and accusing me of all sorts. So do yourself a favour and don't accuse me of being something I'm patently not. You do your argument no favours.

That is inclusive of how the club is towards players, whether right or wrong, we are allowed to question the method behind things to seek an appropriate answer. We, also support the club and the team, but that will not stop us questioning the manager's/ board's methods, if need be. We are the heart beat of the club, not them.

Do so. Be objective. Use common sense. Try not to be blinded by in built prejudices. And please, let me know when you manage to do those things...

You need to give the board a miss if you can't handle people seeking answers. It's a big world with lots to do and lots of other types of Sheep there.

Again, petty. You really are becoming quite pathetic in your attempts to lump me in with some "group" of people whoever they may be. I've said numerous times, justified criticism is one thing - the constant haranguing of Mark Hughes and Garry Cook by the same dozen posters is very sad.

You're ruining this thread with your constant attempts to try and pick a fight with me. Move on mate...

Hahaha! You really believe you don't slag anybody off that has another view, do you? As soon as ANYBODY mentions Hughes, your radar flickers into action!! Those people become 'anti-fans'/'anti-City'! It's quite silly when you think about it!

It's actually YOU that has the problem, but you just don't see it.

I love the way that the anti-Hughes mob now call any support or defence of him tubthumping and yet whenever they knock him at the slightest opportunity then that apparently constitutes reasoned debate. lol.

Typing words in CAPITALS won't make them anymore true. You are completely generalizing about my posting to try and give your own argument some more weight. I myself have criticized Hughes on occasions, so rest assured, I have no problem with justified criticism. When I talk about anti-supporters I talk about people who incessantly only post negative things about Hughes and his staff. People who are rendered mute whenever something good happens on the field - unless it's to say that the on field success is inspite of Mark Hughes. I'm talking about those supporters who haven't quite gotten over the sacking SGE, and still harbour some sort of irrational dislike for Hughes simply, because he was the man who replaced him. I could go on but you catch my drift...

I think if you take a stop back you'll see that your incessant attempts at baiting me in this thread have failed miserably. Like I said, move on man...
