it`s a cut throat business and look how many times he`s jumped ship to get to QPR,he isn`t loyal one bit and is showing what a great move it was by the cookie monster...
who gives a shit that he found out on the day of a match,he isn`t a good manager fact, his teams are always better in the second half of the season...yep leslie, this one will be because you won`t be managing them...
plus i never forgave this rag twat for elbowing richard edgehill in the face when we played southampton years ago...
you`re not a very good manager hughes, get over yourself and get used to it...

I get no real pleasure for seeing a man lose his job, but I have to agree with some of your comments.

One thing that plays into our hands is the fact that CITY got it right despite some idiotic papers saying how bad we were for getting rid of a great YOUNG BRITISH coach........Just goes to show what the press know about coaches and management.....set of cnuts!!!!

The stupid bastards are still saying this. Merson said it again today.

Re: not long left for hughes

Its a travesty another great young british manager hounded out of his job.

Re: not long left for hughes

Just read one of Henry Winter's pieces after the sacking, just pure bitterness. And so many statements made that I'm sure he'd be embarrassed about today given the benefit of hindsight.

Just like we have the WUM / ITK list, can someone go through the posts and find all those people who wanted Hughes to stay, and who thought he was actually a decent manager and get them named and shamed.

A terrible excuse for a manager, cant organise a defence, and QPR are going to feel the brunt of his no plan, scatter-gun approach to signings for years to come. We are only just getting over his legacy at City now.

Its just been a great Saturday, City win, Ushited Lose, and Hughes lost 'El Sackio'.

Tell you what mate - I'll invite you to personally name and shame me over a pint prior to Wednesday night's game against Real Madrid. Deal?

As it happens, while I thought it was ill-timed I'm more than happy to admit in hindsight that the club made the right decision. If Hughes was still in charge now, I doubt very much that we'd have won the league.

We'd still be challenging for top 6 though.

But what league ?

Redknapp

He can't wait for Hughes to get fired at QPR, so he can step into his job.

A truly odious character.
