I get no real pleasure for seeing a man lose his job, but I have to agree with some of your comments.
One thing that plays into our hands is the fact that CITY got it right despite some idiotic papers saying how bad we were for getting rid of a great YOUNG BRITISH coach........Just goes to show what the press know about coaches and management.....set of cnuts!!!!

A terrible excuse for a manager, cant organise a defence, and QPR are going to feel the brunt of his no plan, scatter-gun approach to signings for years to come. We are only just getting over his legacy at City now.
Its just been a great Saturday, City win, Ushited Lose, and Hughes lost 'El Sackio'.

Tell you what mate - I'll invite you to personally name and shame me over a pint prior to Wednesday night's game against Real Madrid. Deal?
As it happens, while I thought it was ill-timed I'm more than happy to admit in hindsight that the club made the right decision. If Hughes was still in charge now, I doubt very much that we'd have won the league.
But what league ?Mike D said:M18CTID said:MCRJON said:Just like we have the WUM / ITK list, can someone go through the posts and find all those people who wanted Hughes to stay, and who thought he was actually a decent manager and get them named and shamed.

We'd still be challenging for top 6 though.
