Well Redknapp was supposedly courting the Ukraine job so I suppose they could've been in the throes of convincing him to come to QPR before flirting Hughes off.

I've always had the opinion that he was lucky at Blackburn rather than astute given he'd inherited a nucleus of a half decent side from Souness. I'm also of the same opinion about his time at Fulham only this time it was Hodgson's prior work that bore fruits for him there.
Actually building something is beyond his limited capability and just as with us, he has finally been sussed by QPR.
I take no joy in anyone being out of work and hope he gets something sorted soon, but boy am I chuffed our owners got rid when we did.
