Now THAT would make me very happy. I've always been a big fan of the way his teams play football and we have the players for him to enforce his tactics more or less straight away.

If there was nothing going on then the club should have come out and categorically denied this especially considering we are only hours away from a home game kick off. I'm no Hughes supporter but it cannot be right to have the manager facing his own crowd with all this added pressure in the background. Therefore I think there has to be some truth in this speculation and Hughes himself may have already been told . I don't see it as the press trying to destabilise us other than just reporting a story they have information on. I know the press have never been pro-City but I also don't think they have an hidden agenda against us.

All i will say is that the OP has really put his neck on the line so he must be rather sure about it. I would not be suprised at all if Mancini is our manager by New Year. I don't want it to happen, I believe Hughes deserves the season but there you go.
