Hull (a) Post Match Thread

You predicted we'd lose 0-3 to Arsenal ("being generous") and 0-2 to Watford. That you'd still come in here with another bed wetting prediction after being so spectacularly wrong beggars belief.
So we win every time he predicts a defeat? For F**k's sake don't scare him off!

Yeah, but his team were monsters. We destroyed teams.

Like the time we headed into the final game of the season needing three points for the title and we found ourselves 2-1 down against relegation candidates QPR going into stoppage time?

Or the time we thrashed Blackpool 3-2 with a late winner from Silva?

What about that same season where we drew 0-0 with Birmingham?

The 1-0 drubbing in the home game against Blackpool?

Our 2-1 loss against and 4-3 destruction of a Wolves team who narrowly avoided relegation?

2-2 against Birmingham?

Our 3-2 thrashing of Bolton?

1-0 against Reading courtesy of a 93rd minute goal from Gareth Barry?

The 0-0 demolition of QPR?

The 1-0 annihilation of Wigan with a Tevez goal in the 83rd minute?

These matches were all against teams who were comparable to Hull as they finished in the bottom three with the exception of Wolves in 2011 and QPR in 2012, both of whom finished in 17th.

I love Mancini for winning the title with us but I stick by what I said previously. He never transformed us into a team who routinely thrashed weak opposition.

If we set up right & step right up there's something in this game for us.

We must be cool & calm in the face of their inevitable pressure but quick & decisive in their final third. We must run their defenders back into their box cos they dive in right across their back Four.

Nail Mane & Llana then take our chances.....could be a good night.

Unlike the foul on KdB by Dawson that was clearly intended to put our man off his rhythm and should have been a yellow card, any foul we commit of the same vein will be carded. I will stake my wobbly head of Shaun Goater on it!

Bobby completely changed the mentality of the club, players, fans AND OPPONENTS.

He restored our pride & identity, rammed the rags back into their box, faced the GPC down live on tv in front of a massive world wide audience.

Bought world class players.....Yaya,David,Kun. Was denied others who would have taken us to the next level....Hazzard,Sanchez,Van PissPot,Javie Martinez,de Rossi.

Beat the rags at Wembers, won the cup & Championship.....oh sick swan & the Vincent 'park the bus derby'.

Thank you Bobby....Forza Mancini.
