Hull (a) Post Match Thread

tough game that turned out to be, good all round performance, sterling was superb at times. the game changer was sagnas clearance, if that had gone in ........

Job done. Not the best performance but can't sniff too much at 3-0 away from home. KDB, Yaya and Otamendi played well. Bravo still shits me up. Nacho looked good once he settled down and did well with his goal. Was a tap in but did well to stay onside and also judge the fact that the keeper wasn't going to reach the ball. Sterling had a couple of good moments as well.

Did say in the match thread that we have a good amount of players who can decide a game with a touch or a moment, but we lack players who can actually run a game for the duration and give us an extra semblance of control.

That said, great result today.

Starting to build up some momentum.

Hopefully we can peak against Liverpool and Stoke get something from them tomorrow.

Another clean sheet and three big points.

A very solid performance, IMO with hardly a poor performer on the park. Special mentions to:
Otamendi - unassailable today, absolutely massive
Kolarov - same as above, both individually won over double the number of aerial duels than anyone else on the park
KDB - a class above the rest
Yaya - reliable from the spot and at the heart of everything we did
Kelechi - if there's one thing he does and does well it's put pressure in the box. We needed that today and it paid off
The flappers - thanks for all the laughs in the matchday thread

Bring back Pellegrini they said. City won't score they foretold. The same shit posts from the same shit posters. Bring on Liverpool!

sagna's clearance off the line was the turning point when Bravo went walk about , not a vintage performance but Yaya was the pick of an average bunch. Win 3-0 away and not get out of first gear is the sign of champions ?, maybe not. Just hope KDB is in the mood for the dippers and Sterling is prepared to run the gauntlet of hate from the candleholders

Good game. Yaya motm for me, played well and smashed in another penalty. Otamendi won a lot of headers and his pass for the 2nd was almost as good as Silva's. Great to see Kelechi score, hope Stones is ok. Clean sheet win a brilliant late Christmas present.
