Controlled performance - bar one Bravo walkabout. Lacked a bit of cutting edge / final ball and players took extra touch till we scored .

It was like a switch was flicked when we scored the penalty. We raised our energy levels considerably And were pressing like Arsenal second half.

Hull did put a bit of fight (they looked doomed though) but we were in control but just lacked that cutting edge in the first half. Credit to the team they didn't look like panicking.

Hard game for us, glad we got the result and the 3pts, we rolled our sleeves up and just got stuck in especially after Stones went off injured, good to see Fernandinho back and Ya Ya did a good job as well, thought the defence had a few wobbles during the match, thought the pivotal point was Sagna's save on the line, could have been a very different result for us, anyhow well done guys..............

A very solid performance, IMO with hardly a poor performer on the park. Special mentions to:
Otamendi - unassailable today, absolutely massive
Kolarov - same as above, both individually won over double the number of aerial duels than anyone else on the park
KDB - a class above the rest
Yaya - reliable from the spot and at the heart of everything we did
Kelechi - if there's one thing he does and does well it's put pressure in the box. We needed that today and it paid off

Wank first half. Then whether through accident or design we invited them on and we looked far more dangerous. Yaya has a superb temperament for penalties. Hope everton doesnt come back to haunt us. Pep needs to see the difference in both halves and act accordingly. We need to invite candlepool on, play them at their own game.

No thanks! Liverpools forward line is not the same hulls. We need to win the second balls and get at them.

Average performance against a very poor side. Bravo still looks shaky and we were so pedestrian eithour passing in the first half. Looked so much better when Ihenacho came on and Hull tired a bit. Thought our centre halves did well and the clean sheet is very welcome. Hopefully we can step it up against Liverpool.

I don't usually like to criticise the team too much, but I think we can all agree that the first half at Leicester- just two weeks ago- was a disaster, and one of the worst performances we've seen in a long time.

I'm so impressed with and proud of the way Pep and the team have turned things around. Two professional, clean sheet victories, one of which was away from home. One brilliant comeback win against a title rival. Seven scored, just one conceded, and all without our top goalscorer and our captain, who's also our best defender, and we somehow got by without Delph as well.

Fernando, Touré, Otamendi, Kolarov and Sterling have stepped the fuck up in these three games, as has everyone- even Bravo has shown no sign of the nerves that made him (undeservedly, in my opinion) unpopular. I don't know exactly what Pep has changed, but he's done it well and it's worked.

Congratulations City, and long may it continue.

Well the game opened up in the 2nd half and that suits us much better. We had a good number of counter attacks, in fact all 3 goals were because of them in some capacity.

Credit to Hull for having a go in the 2nd half. It was risky but they needed to win the game. In the first half they were very tentative and to be fair to us, it's not at all easy getting to the by line with 11 players in front of you. The issue with Hull is they didn't counter attack well enough in the first 45 so had to come out like they did after the break.

I thought we worked them into the ground in the first half, far from a poor performance
