I'd like Newcastle to stay up because it's a guaranteed 6 points. But it would be quite funny to see them go down after their fans finally got their way and chased Pardew out of the club. I can't believe they didn't know what they had in him. A bloke who did really well every season despite having his best players sold from under him.

Reminds me of Charlton way back when. They got rid of Curbishley because they were sick of mid table premier league finishes. Wonder what they'd give now for a similar league placing?

Not sure. Newcastle fans seemed to be a deluded bunch a few years ago, but seem to have grasped a large dose of reality in the last 5 or 6 years.
