Hull Vs City Post Match Thread

Patchy as fuck that, but a very important 3 points.

Mangala will learn from those mistakes, hard to believe the fannies on the matchday thread calling for him to be subbed at HT. Great management from MP not to do so. Its only his second game in the league, he is going to be a monster for us.

Yaya's through ball for the 4th goal goal was sublime

Pellegrini's idea to switch to a midfield diamond with Toure, Silva, Navas and Milner when things werent going well was brilliant.

So were his substitutions,
Agreed. I wasn't sure at the time but that change effected the match. We were soooo much better for that period and scored the vital 3rd goal. Well done pellers.

Agreed

He will learn from his mistakes but I will admit to being nervous with him today

Really nice to be getting the figures in our goal scored column that the team is capable of. We can score 4 against pretty much anyone in the league save for a couple of sides; Hugely advantageous to have that fire power clicking up front, as 2 goals conceded yet still 3 points today shows.

Mangala was ALWAYS going to have moments like this. It was ridiculous to think otherwise. The main thing is that on the whole, and bearing in mind he's still young and learning, he's going to most likely be an unbelievable centre half. Having that sort of pace as a last line of defence is brilliant.
