Hull Vs City Post Match Thread

Patchy as fuck that, but a very important 3 points.

Mangala will learn from those mistakes, hard to believe the fannies on the matchday thread calling for him to be subbed at HT. Great management from MP not to do so. Its only his second game in the league, he is going to be a monster for us.

Was a big call to keep him on, particularly as he had a yellow to his name as well. What it would have done to his confidence to bring him off we don't know. Big call, turned out alright in the end.

Just glad to of got away with a win from that, we were playing brilliantly then just all seemed to fall apart after the own goal. Seemed to regain our composure in the second half, but worrying how badly rattled we seemed to get. Some really poor performances out there as well, along with some great ones from Silva, Zaba and Aguero. Yaya needs to wake the fuck up sooner or later, as he's going to cost us points against better sides if he keeps up that sort of tempo, especially if he's going to keep underhitting square passes in our half. Onwards and upwards.

A very good performance, mistakes from Mangala cost both goals but other than that we dominated the game away from home at a tough place to win, 3 points in the bag and onto the next game. Well done MP showing how the players know what is expected whoever is on the pitch, we look a very good side.

Great first 15 minutes then total collapse. Picked up after HT and stayed just about on equal footing and then Edin's goal killed it off, they were too knackered after then. 3 points is 3 points.

From what little of the match I saw, Milner looked desperate for a goal.
