By the same token, it’s just as sad that people would rather take a pot shot at RWNJs for not praising this hero than be bothered about him pulling through from his injuries.

I've praised him numerous times in the thread and again stating on my post he has saved lives.

Because these people have been over every single fuckin attack spreading absolute nonsense and hate. Just like lots of posters on here came to the conclusion that a Brown faced none english guy was responsible. So its nice to take them all down a fuckin peg. To top it all off a guy with a Brown face is a Hero and I'm 100% certain Samir has pissed on their chips.

The right are wankers for what you outline they’ve done there^ and your lot are wankers for taking joy in the fact they’re wrong.

It’s not nice that you can take right-wing wankers down a peg or two or that they’ve had their chips pissed on because there are people who’ve been injured here and some still in critical conditions in hospital and there’s the wider issue of there being a problem with knife crime and knife culture in this country as well as Bert has highlighted the cuts to funds and services. How anyone can find anything nice out of this situation is disturbing. Both sides need to get their heads out of their arses, you’re all fucking idiots.

There isn't any. As you should know a la Trump make the claim and few will bother to check its veracity. The Met Police Figures up to Aug 25 show little success in finding a knife on a subject. What it is very good at is finding drugs on those stopped. Over 69000 searches were undertaken between March and August

We shouldn't have to close a thread like this (or move it to the political forum either), just because people can't act sensibly.

This thread is about a serious event that happened on our public transport, we should be able to discuss the event and subsequent hero's with having to be subjected to bullshit that is unrelated, so I won't close it.

Quite right too, seems like the guard and the Forest fan and a few others risked their own lives to prevent the maniac with the knife from committing murder on the train. They should be praised not used as political fodder, hopefully all those injured make a full recovery.
