YEP OLD TRAFFORDDo we think this postcard from 1920/1 is from Hyde Road (rather than an away ground)?

He‘ll never accept it but the metalwork and measurements match one of Hyde Rd’s other roofs that survived as a factory in Sale (since demolished). This fact is refuted by the Halifax Town Historian. He told me there was no proof whatsoever this was the case. I know Gary James was looking into it at some point.
FA Cup 7th March 1914 if I’ve googled correctly. Finished 0-0. Went to their place a few days later and ended 0-0 in the first replay. Lost to a solitary goal in the second replay at Villa Park on the 16th. 4th round was a quarter final in those days.Sorry if this is already posted. I think pics of hyde road are like rocking horse shit as they were destroyed in the fire. Never seen this before
The chaps in white coats appear to be selling drinks or something to people in the crowd.Sorry if this is already posted. I think pics of hyde road are like rocking horse shit as they were destroyed in the fire. Never seen this before

Sorry, Sheffield United. It’s written at the bottom of the picture but isn’t immediately obvious.Against who?

The Aces was knocked down years ago.to make way for new housing.I cycled around Cowes Street and the surrounding area. I couldn't see the Aces pub or Thomas Street, where I was led to believe there is a plaque marking City's inception. I found photos online but nothing there.
Do you know if there is anything at Kirkmanshulme Lane or elsewhere? Thanks
I thought as much. I was just cycling through and thought I'd have a quick gander. The Aces was knocked down years ago.to make way for new housing.
