I am Carlton Cole's agent

IMO he is better than any of the forwards we have signed this summer, the guy has come on leaps and bounds under Zola, he is only 25 and at 6' 3" will make a better target man than RSC wiil ever be.

Last night he was a revelation, I guess there is no chance of us bidding for him as we already have a glut of strikers but I am still not sure why he has never been on our radar.

Please - no abuse, these are just my personal thoughts.
We could pair him up with Jo!!!!! Fantastic you da man!!!!!

It's not unusual for a striker to start shining after several years of mediocre performances.

Ian Wright, Les Ferdinand amd Drogba didnt show anything like their true form until their mid 20's.

Both CC and James Beattie are loads better now than they were at their previous clubs, and I predict we'll see a lot from them this season.

I wouldnt be surprised if CC went to the World Cup next year and had the Top 4 sniffing around for him with a hefty price tag on his head.

I think the people saying he's "average" on this thread will be shown up.

FFS don't agree with the original poster (me), this is the bluemoon forum and its all about vitriol and f**king people off for having an opinion different to theirs. We will see what transpires during the course of this season, I still stand by my OP Cole will score more goals than any of the strikers we have signed this summer

He won't. But your entitled to your opinion, no matter how wrong it is.

Adebayor has scored more goals in two seasons than Carlton Cole has in his whole career

Thats down to the fact he was with a good team ;)

You keep believing that. Adebayor is much much better than Carlton Cole and i find it hard to believe anyone would think otherwise

Carlton Cole is a decent striker but thats about it whereas Adebayor is one of the best in the premiership

Re: Carlton Cole

why do people thnik just because he has had one good game we should sign him. then stupid comments like oh he better than rsc ffs!! know he is not if he was tht good he would not of left chelsea and he would start for england,

he is not better than any of our strikers apart from benjani. get a grip

Re: Carlton Cole

FFS it's hardly worthy of a new thread of it's own is it? If everyone started a thread as to who they would like to come and play for CITY it would be even harder to get to the real issues on this forum, such as how effing marvellous everton and moyes are

Re: Carlton Cole

I was impressed with him last night, I've always thought he had something but I reckon he lacks a 'ruthlessness'. To say he's better than adebayor is ridiculous though. Robinho will
score more goals than him from the wing.

Re: Carlton Cole

Carlton Cole is quality. Fact.

His performance against us at Upton Park last season was the best lone striker perfomance i have probably ever seen. Everything was superb. First touch, Strength, Ariel ability, passing, movement.

A lot of fans seem to think strikers are shit if they don't score a lot but the game has moved on so much from when a target man was your main source of goals. Players like Cole and even Heskey are vital to England and if we'd a signed Cole over the summer i'd have been quitely happy.
