His performance against us at Upton Park last season was the best lone striker perfomance i have probably ever seen. Everything was superb. First touch, Strength, Ariel ability, passing, movement.

A lot of fans seem to think strikers are shit if they don't score a lot but the game has moved on so much from when a target man was your main source of goals. Players like Cole and even Heskey are vital to England and if we'd a signed Cole over the summer i'd have been quitely happy.

No-one is saying he is shit, we're just saying he has a long way to go before he can be compared to Adebayor and Tevez. If you asked a West Ham fan who they would rather have Carlos or Carlton then I'm fairly sure it would be our man.

Just to clarify, you think that Carlton Cole is better than Emanuel Adebayor and Carlos Tevez?
