I don't mind arsenal

good to see a few comments about The Arsenal , yes we do have some annoying fans , some are actually demanding that wenger should be sacked because of his lack of signing players this summer and that we have not won a trophy for four years :( now how arrogant is that ?
its a nice relief coming on here to be honest :)

Everyone has annoying fans. Good luck to the Arsenal (though not on Saturday week).

Only reason I like Arsenal is that Van Persies there. Hes fucking quality, and hope we get him one day.

I think he's highly rated and yet I still think he's underrated. Cracking player. Shame he seems a bit injury prone, but still.

I think its worth remembering under George Graham arsenal were pretty boring, One nil to the arsenal etc. Its also worth remembering we haven't played them in vital matches over the last 30 years, unlike the spuds. I think once we start to become a threat and play them in some important matches our little love-in might wane. However I have to say they played some great football over the last 15 years, and I also applauded Henry the last time he played at Coms.
I also had a great time at arsenal last season, they have a great away pub near the away end, and a few arsenal fans were drinking outside while all the City fans were singing. also saw another pub on the way down from the tube with both City and arsenal fans drinking outside, You don't see that at chelski or spuds. I also hope they we the Chumps League.

It's odd really, because I've never rated him at all. He always seems to much of a moaner.

...but their fans and their players never seem to gloat the way the rags, red dippers and chelski boys do.

Its because their fans don't have as much passion. Watch the crowd when they score, they don't go mad , they just stand up and clap.

some of us still have the passion but we just aren't the sort that are wanted in the concrete bowl , since wenger came we attracted a lot of "new" fans who treat the afternoon at the match more like the theatre then a football match :(

Agree with all the above, great team to watch on their day and Highbury was always my favourite away day, not been to the Emirates yet but lead to believe the atmosphere is lacking from my Gooner mates. The club just has an air of class about it that the other 3 distinctly lack. Fantastic front line but can't see them challenging simply because I can't see all their key players being fit long enough, they do seem to get their fair share of crocks!

I've lots of time for Arsenal. A great club with great traditions. Highbury was a lovely stadium, one of my favourites. The Emirates is a beautiful new ground, too.

They've had, and have, some wonderful players, and Wenger is a decent chap too. Fascinating man. Loved the way he stood in the stand at OT, too, really showed some balls doing that.

However, the one thing I do hate about the club is the pretentious, smug, spoiled aspect of the fanbase - basically lots of the armchair fans, the 'grim up north london' brigade - all the arty, poncy types who've come to the club in the Wenger era, a bunch of soft aesthetes the lot of them, who are now writing Graham's Arsenal out of history.
