For TangerineSteve.

Great motor,perfect for a taxi.
Loads of room,4 cases in the boot no problem.
AND THE FRONT LIGHTS.....
So easy to change. :)
Anyone else got a "lower class" car like me.
They are indeed Superb cars nowadays, TTT, however, I spent some years in the motor trade, and when salesmen saw these come into the dealership, driven buy some mug who wanted to unload it in PX, they melted away like snow in summer. Along with Lada, Polski Fiat, and sundry other commie built shite, they certainly held their own, in shiteness.

Me too AC,32 years with the AA.
Yer correct with the "shite" comment tbf.
But by fuk they've came a long way eh.
This my 2nd Superb, had a 55 plate for 5 years,280,000 miles on the clock, not too much went wrong in that time.

as if.

wouldn't be seen dead. rather be a rag.

I can fit 5 asylum seekers into my skoda estate.
Well; that's a lie straight off. No self respecting asylum seeker (or even one with no self respect) would want to be seen in the same postcode as a Skoda, never mind (horror of horrors) actually being spotted sat in one.

What do you drive Jim ?

Re. the MPG; I do, actually (it's a 1.6 diesel). Low to mid fifties would be the average consumption. As for the cases? No, I probably wouldn't get 4 in the boot. You'd get two in fairly comfortably, with a third at a squeeze (Oo-err).

I collapse in a fit of giggles when I see fuel consumption figures like that. And some cars now get 70mpg. Me? About 18mpg. Oh dear.
