As for class, the vast majority of decent working class people are not in favour of theft either. My family are working class and they have stolen anything or wished to.

Perhaps a warning that any future instances will result in a ban and say a ban from a certain number of away matches or a reduction of loyalty points would be fairer.

Can we kill the thread? This is turning to a war between our own. A lot of City fans go on about selling kits, tickets and other merchandise, "Only for a City fan" and then absolutely take the rip out of each other on here. Anyway the Police aren't allowed to pass on details. If any accused wish to take the matter to court than can do, and it doesn't take a genius to figure out they would win. Or you could kill the thread, ring the club up, prove you released without charge and get your card back. Simple.

people are held in detention for the duration of trials. on suspicions.

Fair enough, I'd say. and anyone proven innocent to suffer from this will be compensated fairly I am sure, as there are instances in place for these sort of matters.

after the PATHETIC thread on here regarding the bus getting arrested at sunderland the club have kindly sent us all letters this morning stating we are banned.. for me personally city are my life i am 22 and have had season ticket from being 5, i go home and away and have nearly 7000 points.. i did not steal anything from the shop.. Now for the people who commented on that thread without any knowledge on the matter, do you think you helped this blue and the other 32 who were released without charge but who are looking at being banned from there beloved city?? even the people who did take stuff are not 'SCUM' as described on here we tried to pay our way and the shop owner (who could hardly even speak our language) refused to serve us for absolutely no reason whatsoever.. thanks very much BLUE'S. you will not find a bus load of more dedicated city fans and i can promise you it will be a lot quieter without us MCFC OK
