MASSIVE overreaction over this,i'd say the thread starter has put 1 and 1 together & got 5 but for people to think EVERYONE on that coach deserves to be banned is a tad silly.
Anyone who remembers the pre-season 70's trips to Blackpool will know what it will be like on here if the events that took place on those trips happens when we play them this year.

Who thinks everyone on the coach should be banned?

I'm very much interested in seeing this letter. Could one of recipients do a scan so we can judge for ourselves - obviously remove the details like name and supporter number, but I just want to see the exact wording, especially if it says our fans are disgusted or similar.

The club have every right to ban whoever they want from the ground, they could ban everyone and play in a an empty stadium every week - it's their prerogative, but I think banning anyone over this is major overkill, and to suspend everyone on the coach regardless of whether they were involved is draconian. Just hope the club see sense and overturn the bans/suspensions, especially of the people who didn't take anything.

Just as local lads from the swamp must have been having this discussion many a time and the very people that said BAN EM ALL are now next on the menu, and the locals are still shafted without the points etc to obtain a tkt, take a look at whats happened over the road and take MUCH FUKIN HEED,but wait a minute, when the shite or anyother clubs fortunes are sliding then the aforementioned locals will be begged to return, we are next.

Just look at the sky cameras when they pan around the crowd, you always see nice little families or dad 'n' lad etc etc, which is all good, but they never show you a couple of rows back where a couple of lads are having fun with a bit of a sing song or harmless banter do you? easy on the eye, do not resist, do as we say, no smoking, no chanting, whats next? i'll tell yer', NO BEER.

The jobs fukd and all the snivelling, grovelling shitbags that are aiding the nightmare, FCK YOU ALL and i'll laugh my bolox off when indeed, the guns are turned on you as there is nobody left to shoot, you will be next.

PS, if the fans stood up as one and boycotted the game untill the non thieves from the coach are immediately reinstated, then it would be a victory for mankind.

Those that aint so lucky probably will be banned but imho, even though i do not condone thieving i still think it has fuk all to do with the club, those that are banned for nothing, then i would sue the club, cheeky twats.

yep, its already happening.

You only have to look at the way Sky advertise crowds etc at start of their footy programmes - men and women, children all ages, all creeds. Nothing wrong with that but they will only be able to attract this type of 'customer' if they cut out most of the above. Attracting this group of fans ties into inceasing our capacity.

However there has to be a place for those who want to swear etc and I hope the club are considering an area for these fans or we'll lose our sole. The American model is usually the one they try to follow, where families gather before games for tailgate parties etc, similar to recent developments at the ground. Beer being overpriced is a tactic to keep your 'regular' fan away. However I think the Americans still have areas where the more 'rowdy' sections gather.

believe me it happens mate.....the club are of the opinion they have a direct FREE line of contact and feedback from the average city fan with this forum and that is straight from the horses mouth (so to speak)

Whilst I'm in no doubt people at the club may look on here, I can't see them being influenced by it. Firstly, opinions on here are mainly split so whose "side" would they take..? and secondly, I doubt that this forum speaks for any more than 5% of the 45,000.
For example, if they want to conduct surveys they email season/city card holders.

i wouldn't say directly influenced mate, but indirectly deffo a yes....example being the rumblings on here last season about better food, service and facilities indirectly infuenced the large questionaire sent out by city at the end of last season

Seriously, what the fuck is going on?

I just spent a full day with two of the lads on THAT coach during which we discussed all things City, tactics, past games, future games and the merits of our players.

At no point did they steal anything from me, people around me, or cause any trouble.

I was taken by surprise to be honest. Them being the "Scum of Manchester" and all.

i hate to break it to you mate but i snaffled a wine gum that the young girl who was sat next to us was stupid enough to leave lying about!!! It was a green one which would'nt be my 1st choice but beggars can't be choosers!!
