I was there when...

IF CARLSBERG DID FOOTBALL MEMORIES

A top memory during our darkest days. In the season we were useless and on our way down to Division Two. A really misearable day weather wise and the Game was worse; and I cant even remember now if it was against Barnsley or Bradford or who really.

Nil - Nil. Deep into injury time and we got a free kick close to the corner flag. Micheal Brown chipped it into the Box and the much maligned Tony Vaughn rose majestically and looped a Header into the bottom corner. One- nil to City, Game over.

It was so late into the Game and so many fans had already left my Eleven year old nephew had practically the whole stand to himself to run around and celebrate in !!!

In 1995/6, before the Derby at MR.

When Lake was introduced to the fans before the match, and he was quite obviously crying his heart out.

He knew, and we knew, it was all over for him.

We played united in paul lakes testimonial in a match that was obviously fixed, they played us of the park scored and then after 20 minutes the tanoy announced that due to the england managers request all players joining up with the england squad on the weekend would now leave the pitch, que half the rag's team going off along with LEE BRADBURY who was joining up with the under 21's!, they than did thier up most to let us equalise which kinky did.

Worst memory... away to Lincoln City midweek in the pouring rain and losing 2-1. We were fooking awful but we destroyed their keeper by calling him a gypo all second half.. to the point where he couldn't even take a goal kick and chucked one in the net for an og.. Don't think we even had a shot on target

They had a huge pitch invasion at the end like they had won the league
