Ian Cheeseman (and his VLOGs)

Says it all about the BBC that they don't even think the fans are due a simple statement on the matter.

It is very odd. If you look at Ian Cheesemans twitter feed he has posted at least 3 or 4 things every single day for as long as you can be bothered to go back. But nothing at all for a week now.

We should ALL email them and depending on their reply ( if they reply ) we should boycott listening to the station

The other thing I can't get my head round is that I can't get them on either of my radios these days, I have to listen on the internet. I've not had a response as yet but I'm giving them until I go to the match and then I shall be boycotting them.

And now they've taken the internet programme off me because they are broadcasting a match!! Ah well, let me know lads if they mention our emails and texts. :-) I should be getting ready for the trip to the game anyway. :-)

BlueS, he's a great Abba fan........... but where is he??? If they would just say he was on holiday or not well but nothing at all makes it very mysterious.

EDIT: By the way, I can still get Radio Manchester on my car radio without any problems so I guess it must be my house radios!!

Radio silence !

Put the radio on earlier and they keep plugging the game later and the commentary team. No mention though for the absence. Considering the duration he has been reporting on city it is poor.

But is the BBC so ..........................normal .

Cnuts.

I'm going to put my perspective in the mix, and I sincerely hope I'm wrong. I think he may be unwell or got a family issue.

My reasons for this is that he's just past 2000 games. Even if the BBC were to "suspend" him, or take his duty away, he'd stikes me as the chap who would still turn up as a fan.

Now whilst he would maintain a dignified professional silence if asked about what is going on, no one has come on here and said they've see him or spoken to him at the intervening games.

It never came to my mind that the BBC would suspend him - i'd thought it more likely he'd walked out on them in support of David. But we're probably all wrong. He tweeted on xmas eve, in what sound like he'd been to a show despite the BBC com the few days before that saying he was off ill.

I know.... I just plucked the word suspend out, because it was half time and I couldn't immediately think of something suitable.
