he's also a racist, talking about the "arab takeover". what's wrong with just saying "takeover"? i bet he'd never dare write about the "jewish takovers" at chelsea or the rags.

You think winning something will stop people hating City? No, no, it will just revert to 'City bought the [insert trophy name]'. In our first season under Hughes when we were near relegation at Christmas, they just started saying how 'money can't buy you [class, a team etc.]'. After coming so close to Champions League football we're now buying that. The anti-City agenda won't go away even if/when we start winning things but it'll be a nice feeling to know that no matter what they say, it won't make a slight bit of difference to our success. I think the only way it will ever go away is if the press get a new whipping boy i.e. someone else with no history at all gets took over and starts winning trophies. Even then I'm not convinced because they won't have the historical rivalries with the clubs we're threatening. Which is probably why everyone pretended Fulham getting to the final of the Europa League was completely uninfluenced by having a rich owner. Who gives a shit about Fulham; Brentford and that's about it.

I suspect you're a rag though so this was probably pointless. Oh well, others can read it.

On a slightly different note, on SSN this morning the tw@t from the Mail blamed us for getting Joe Cole sent off on Sunday. The Man City player made too much of the challenge apparently.

Thats clutching at straws. Whenever the take over is mentioned its regularly labelled as the 'arab takeover' or some reference to oil. Nothing racist in that. If he had come out and said something like, 'the takeover by the turban heads' or something like that, fair do's. Ian Wright has always had a big mouth, why would he change now? Just because SWP plays here?! Don't think so. The debate about not selling to rivals is a common one, not just because its Bellamy. Its basic common sense not to sell a top payer to a main rival, and thats what Spurs are, a main rival.

The press and sports writers are doing this to sell papers its got nowt to do with us doing well and winning things tbh...

Btw did anyone hear the co commentator on the Rags game last night (sky).

"Newcastle Uniteds mike ashley hasnt spent nearly enough money to do well in the premiership,You have spend money to succeed in this division"

But not too much eh ??

I would love to be a lawyer representing Bellers or Wright as i can see a huge amount of money to be made here.

IW: I want to sue MCFC for Restraint of trade

Lawyer: OK Mr Wright give me a couple of week and i will asses your claim

Lawyer Mr Wright I have assesed your claime including writing to Fifa ,UEFA,MCFC,Mr Bellamy and all other intrested parties Although i agree with you that there is a POSSIBLE claim Unfotunatley all the laws are against you.

I have spent many hours looking at these laws and contracts and it seems to me that Mr Bellamy signed a contract with MCFC that was drawn up by the Lawyers of Sheik Mansoor which made it clear to him that he would remain the property of MCFC until the end of his contract.

Could you plese forward me the sum of £50,000 +Vat for the work completed to date

As previously stated there is a possibility of a claim plese forward a further £250,000 so that we can seek counsels advise as to the merits of your claim

And the legal gravy train begins while the outcome is already nailed on :-)

Now that would be funny, Bob phoning Ian telling him he`s correct, `Greg` was one of our best players last season, your Shaun wasn`t, soooo, I`ll take your advice :-), also as much as people shouldn`t judge and assume, many will put 2 and 2 together and form the opinion that Sweep is a `grass` lol.

Makes me laugh this, now it`s St `Greg` all of a sudden, must be comforting for him to know that on the scale of `badness` he is below MCFC.
