Ian Wright

Not sure if he's wumming now but over the last couple of hours people have posted videos of swp about that day and in everyone he's confirmed he didn't want to leave and he was in tears
I’m at the legends night tomorrow at the palace, he’s on with Dickov and the Goat
I’ll ask him ?

I was at Macc that day heard the same story

This demand for impartiality is utter nonsense. It’s never had to be the case before and it’s only raised now because Twitter frothers couldn’t take a sports presenter having views outside of sport.

Have you suffered some kind of memory loss??
No mate you have. City didn’t force him out, he pulled out of a friendly after initially saying he wanted to stay. Fast forward six years, he’s back at City and gets offered a new contract, step forward his tit of a dad and I quote “ city are trying to mug him off“ this was a new £80k a week contract, City withdrew their offer and he left for an undisclosed fee soon after.
Good player, fan favourite yes.

Your original post said

"A legend who fucked off at the first opportunity"

and here you are now wibbling on about the second time he left, while everybody else is still answering your fucked off to Chelsea comment.

no offence but are you fucking thick? Chelsea made an offer, the club put it to SWP he said no, that was that, end of. SWP changed his mind and pulled out of the friendly at Macc. Don’t blame him whatsoever but let’s not pretend he didn’t fuck off to Chelsea, he did.

I must be because here you are blethering on about fast-forwarding 6 years to his second leaving, so if you do actually mean his first exit then really you must be the thickest **** on here.

Literally two videos doing the rounds of him saying he didn't want to leave and was in tears and was forced to go or the club would be bankrupt.

Kind of different than 'fucking off to chelsea' as you keep putting it.

But yeah, fuck him and his dad.

Like most Tarquins fans he and other fans can't quite believe they are have the season of their lives in the league and yet they are probably not going to win the league. They are turning in to scousers.

Oh and Wright is also a bitter ****

As opposed to arrogant fans who think we have almost certainly won the league and spend their time crying coz a commentator has said something they don't like.

Ian Wight is an Arsenal fan, he has never hidden his bias on the subject and I don't mind that one little bit. No one sees him as the ultimate balanced pundit.

Personally thought the first penalty was a nonsense, the push just before half time was a stonewall penalty. We won easily not sure why people care so much about what an arsenal fan has to say.

Collisions happen all the time though. When challenging for the ball, someone always gets there first.

Ederson and Boly collided last week without it being a foul.

Collisions after the shot has been taken rarely get given as penalties though, hence the uproar around Ederson/Jesus last season.
But it wasn't an accidental collision though right? He was going for the ball, he was just nowhere near it? Was he so late that it went from a foul to nothing? I honestly don't know.

If penalties were give for collisions after a shot has taken place, there’d be loads more penalties.

I understand where people are coming from when they’re saying it’s a penalty, I just don’t think it was.

That's fair enough, I bow to your greater knowledge.

its all revisionism, he really wanted to stay blah blah fucking blah. No he didn’t and his dad is a ****.

From the discussion on here there are some who think it was a penalty and some who do not.
The talking point is that Wright said it was the worst penalty decision he had ever seen.

You’ll get to that part of the discussion later, when you catch up. :-)

Ian wright said that and the other two laughed at it, then realised he was being serious. For me it was an actual serious attempt at introducing narratives around opposition matches. He really should be getting a bit of a roasting for it.

Like the one arsenal got against us for eddie taking out saka 10 mins after he had his shot
I think that was Nketiah who on hearing the whistle thought the ball must have crossed the line and ran off celebrating a goal.

Utter wanker.

Got Eric Nixon sent off back in the day at Maine Road followed by dropping his shorts and mooning the kippax.

Also got Garrry Cook sacked because of his "leaked" email concerning Nedum's Mother to spite Cook and City not giving SWP a pay rise.

The man has serious anger, prejudiced issues.
Anybody, who mocks another person with terminal cancer deserves sacking, IMHO.
