No.

He is exactly the opposite og hollistic. His wages is enormous as well.

Nothing "holistic" about Negredo or Osvaldo.

We did have Tevez and Balotelli. De Niro was right, it's downsizing if we are not careful.

Ibra would frighten Chelsea and United.

Ima give you my 2 cents on Ibra, seeing how Ive had the "luxury" of having on my team.

Ibra is:
The BEST pure goal scorer on earth.
The strongest forward on the planet
The strongest desire to win in sports
A motivator (see below as a caution)

Ibra is not:
A team player
A team builder
A motivator (some players do NOT thrive on being told off for every mistake)
Worth building a team around anymore.

Having him at Milan was both a blessing, and a curse. When he left, I shed no tears. He held players back with his style and his tempo. Ibra RUNS the show when he's on the field, and both his teammates and opposition knwo that.

If you want short term success, Ibra is possibly the best signing on the planet.

Long term, look elsewhere.

Glad we ditched him for 24+m and lost his wages - he didnt fit our youth project whatsoever

Yes.

He'd sell a lot of shirts, is very prolific in the league, so would probably help us dramatically winning back the premier league. I'd probably rate him better than Cavani and Kun although he is older.

I just read he is considering a move to Madrid or Chelsea. If thats true, we should put in a bid. Osvaldo is alright (watched him in the Messi charity match so not too much of a firm opinion). Negredo is quietly solid. So if we don't go for Ibra or Cavani, then Negredo or even David Villa are our next best options.

Lamela is fantastic, but his signing is not too urgent.

Reus seems to be unavailable, but that would be a great signing.

Fantastic player, but no way are we in for him, not worth the transfer fee and wages considering his age and the whole idea of a team goes out the window when Ibra comes, biggest ego in football.

Never said that he is more holistic then the two you mention, but I would say that from a holistic view it is better to buy Negredo then Zlatan. Osvaldo may be a twat and I would prefer someone else to be fair.

-- Sun Jul 07, 2013 6:56 pm --

I'd have him over any of this latest batch of strikers we're
currently being heavily linked with even though he's 31.
Knows where the net is, and that's someone we're desperate
for.
