I remember last season we had similar arguments about RVP, age fitness goals scored, those who argued against, well lets just say the proof of the pudding was in the eating. If he replaces Dzeko IMO that is an upgrade ( I am not saying Dzeko is shit) and in all probability we will win the league and certainly get out of the groups in CL.

That is true except Ibrahimovic is MUCH better than RVP could ever hope to be. Ibra scored 35 goals in all competitions last season. He would play well here at City. He partnered well with Lavezzi and Lucas Moura. So its pretty much the same with Kun and D.Silva.

As for people saying that players don't like being shouted at... Thats great. But top players do that when they are frustrated with other players not playing good enough. For example, Messi did it to Villa, and Ibra did it to Veratti. He would be one of the older members of our squad anyway so its not such a big deal. Man, I really do hope he is on his way. Real Madrid are in for him as well, even though they have signed Isco from our noses (and also now signed Illaramendi, Casemiro and Carvajal - good signings).

Do wonder how much longer Ibra can play at such a level. He's shown no signs of deterioration from what I've seen yet is almost 32. Could be unprecedented how long he remains a top striker.
