I'd like someone to point out....

what exactly Mancini got wrong last night?

City performed well up until the sending off.
We were the better team and Stoke only threatened from throw ins.
Barry, Ireland, and Bellamy had great opportunities.
We had more shots.
More on target.
More possession.
More corners.
Ref screwed us with the sending off.
Overall performance a move in the right direction.
Mancini takes off Bridge and puts on RSC.

I added the last part cos everyone keeps going on about how negative RM is. How the hell is that negative? He went for it with only 10 men. A do or die attitude. The only thing is, it'll be Bobby that dies and not some of our moronic fans.

Forza Mancini

work, do you honestly think the players give a flyin F**K at times, £50,000
a week come what may, these players should be fighting for their place
with the squad we have, they really don't seem to want to play for Mancini.
Have I hit the nail on the head there.

The points in the match turned it for me were

The fluff by Bellers when he was clean through, had it gone in with us on top would have lead to us going on to winning the game.
The silly sending off which when replicated by Huth received nothing more than a cautionary glance by the rag in charge who should have been conistant by sending him off.
Then the flap by Given at the long throw which left them with an empty net for them to flick into the net left us hung out dry and really sapped the whole energy out of the team.

I'm guessing the fact that over 120 minutes you were second best against a team on a fraction of your budget was one of the main reasons. Our manager made game changing substitutions, yours just brought players on with no real purpose.

I'd guess your fans won't be too fond of the fact that he came to Stoke with the sole intention of clogging up the midfield with numbers and hoping to catch us on the break. No intent to attack and win the game, just long balls up to Adebayor and then Santa Cruz.

Go rape your mother you deluded inbred 6 fingered ****.

Took Ireland off.

Changed the game completely, we lost creativity and they started to dominate. The pressure on their back four reduced drastically.

What? Ireland was the one slowing down the counter attack, missing passes and chances. He's burnt out, put him with reserve to get his confidence back. The problem is that we don't have a playmaker, since Elano and Robinho left.

No not really. The players worked hard last night and were unlucky

we've played them 4 times. Plenty of chance for a smart young manager to work out his opposite number and adapt.

The record shows:
Game 1 : City 2 nil
Game 2: 1-1 and they nicked a point
Games 3: 1-1 and we nicked the point
Game 4: we lost

So 1 manager showed that he could learn.
