If Mourinho comes..

get ready to see the worst football played by a city team for years. It will be worse than when Pearce was here

get ready to see the end of SWP, Stevie Ireland, Jonno and Elano.

get ready to see City players cheating and diving and having no respect for the ref.

I fucking hate Mourinho and don't want the grubby bastard anywhere near the COMS

Get ready to see city actually win a cup

Get ready to actually see city win more than 5 away games in a season

Get ready to see your manager say it like it is and not make shit excuses all the time for himself or the players

Get ready to see high profile players walk out the CoMS tunnel

Get ready for the summer

If not then go to bed.

I'm sure a few of us older guys remember the Reid/Ellis combo and finishing 5th two years on the bounce.

We were dire to watch in the main and there was disontent in the fans.

Now I wouldn't like to go back to that style of football forever but...

I'd actually like to see us win something being 13 at Wembley the last time.

I'd put up with almost cynical football to achieve this short term as long as we're rag free.

As someone posted earlier time does not stand still. Arse could get a windfall from that Kronie fella, other clubs change hands on a regular basis.

If we get Jose and become a top team he'll be off in a couple of years, he never stays anywhere long and we'll be in a much better position within the football world to play real football.

We're still conceivably in with a chance of qualifying for Europe through a league position under Hughes. This is all with a squad that he mostly inherited and had a very short preseason with.

The players he has brought in have definitely had a positive impact. He has been without two first teamers for most of the season (Petty and Johnno). He has conducted himself impressively in interviews, press conferences, on the sideline etc.

Hughes is trying to change the mentality of a club that has, let's face it, been in the shit for as long as I can remember. He has the financial clout to significantly change the structure of MCFC from the ground up, but to his eternal credit he seems to be trying to keep the core values of the club intact.

We'd lose all our character if Mourinho came in, this is just in my opinion. It would be all about him.

I'd much rather if Hughes became a success here because then nobody could begrudge us it. Now I will support whichever manager comes in, because there is no point in being negative about things. I would just much rather if it was Hughes I was supporting and not the not so special one.

And if Mourinho comes in, I won't be on here after bad results sniping away, which seems to be par for the course under Hughes. If he does get the sack he never really stood a fucking chance with some of the City fans, which is a crying shame.
Most Hughes out arguements have an answer despite their denials the real reason is the club he had two spells with as far as I can figure because when the answers are given the typical reply is "fook off the rag t**t" The real issue is fans patience the money is what some fans see they where expecting instant success and it don't work like that just like the Special One coming doesn't mean we will win anything

another thing I forgot to point out is that some City fans seem to have delusions of grandeur for no particlar reason.. if Mourinho comes in, fucking hell. We'd be the next barcelona before we could beat Hull

Good man. I don't know where my reply came from. I'm not usually that bitter. Sorry

No worries :D

I can't believe, after years of shite football, shite results, relegations, watching our bitter rivals win everything every year, being the laughing stock of the Premiership, playing in Division 2, never winning a single fucking trophy....that there are still some idiots who don't want the best manager in the world to come to our club because he "plays boring football"

Boo fucking hoo, he wins things, something we never EVER do.

Get a grip

Also, didn't Cook once say Thaksin was a decent guy!

He also insisted we would need a bigger trophy cabinet when Frank took over!

You see, even the Cookie monster can be in the dark/get it wrong as to the real goings-on behind the scenes with people who actually hold the power.

Like the rest of us, he didn't seem to know that Frank was in fact potless. Do you think he would even have considered taking the job if he had known?

And he certainly wasn't aware of ADUG on the horizon (because they weren't) when he signed on the dotted line months prior to their arrival.

Massaging each others egos doesn't mean you are right!
And neither does burying your head in the sand and being close-minded enough to consider all the options on the table!
As Benitez says, "I am talking about facts" (Not hearsay)
And your facts? 'Based on an anonymous MUEN poster insisting Cook had said Hughes was safe!
