If this is how the club treat loyal supporters...

This is bang out of order. Before everton the other week they said on the speakers if anyone in the FAMILY stand found swearing will be removed from the stadium( said nothing about taking your season ticket from you). The family stand is full of children so some parent's may be annoyed with others swearing but you wernt in the family stand so where was your warning. I have a season ticket in 110 so i doubt the stewards would be arsed about our corner but if they can kick you out i wouldn't put it past them to do something stupid again.

To the OP: Haven't read through the whole thread but all stewards are cunts. End of.

Don't know if anyones suggested it to you already, but get hold of the Football Supporters Federation. They can try to help you out.

Don't tar them all with the same brush. I know three stewards who are all great people, two of them post on here too!

I can understand the non-swearing in the family stand but don't get why they're clamping down anywhere else. It's part and parcel of a football game.

So what's next, throwing out the entire South Stand and 110/111? Laughable decision, feel sorry for the OP.

At the Blackpool game 60 minutes into the match i was dragged out of my seats by the stewards and took onto the concourse where i found myself with 2 women staff and about 6 stewards. They told me they have had a comlaint from someone around me about my swearing. This was so wrong as I think i only swore a few times in the game and it was to myself very quietly, not standing up screaming it. Just so i could go back to watching the match i told them i admitted to swearing quietly to myself and i apoligize to anyone i may have offended. They told me through the clubs policy that i had to be removed from me the ground and they took my season ticket off me. I went down some stairs and was shown the door and i told them to come up with me now and i will point out every person who has swore around me and lets get them removed. Even my dad left his seat to see what was going on and admitted to them he had swore more than me in the game. Ive now lost my season ticket and they did not give me a say and i couldnt defend myself. The club is a joke and will not be supporting them again until they sort this out. I go home and away and have had a season ticket since we was in division 2 at maine road and have been every game since then. Does anyone else agree that this is a joke or have i gone off the rails?

What a pile of shite. Classic example of the age-old "One Side of The Story" situation.

I've been swearing at City matches for over 30 years and this has never happened to me.

Come on...tell us the whole tale. I dare you.

you sound like the very prick i'm talking about, you got your high vis on now at home?

Haha no, only when I go cycling.

Look the guy has had his season card taken off him and been ejected. Anyone who thinks that was simply for uttering a few swear words is naive in the extreme.

Not sure what the guy has done, but I'm pretty certain that this would not have been undertaken without good reason. I have more faith in the club than you do clearly.
oh dear, a cyclist, that just about says it all, and a cyclist in a high viz, jesus!! expectin road tax payers to share the road and tiptoe round you, typical.

I saw a guy get thrown out at the Villa game for drinking from a plastic bottle with a screw top. Seeing as i had one myself i had to do an SAS type operation to disguise me taking a swig from the bottle and my sister was that scared of being thrown out she went to the toilet to have a drink.

I know that bottles with screw tops can be dangerous when thrown by idiots but ejection for it is pathetic, i presume he was thrown out as he never came back to his seat.

I'll still continue to take bottled drinks in as i like the option of not concentrating on knocking my drink over when people go past. When i spend £40 to watch a game i want to get my value for money and not spend my time worrying about knocking over a £2.20 bottle.

Ridiculous isn't it?! Some people don't have a lot of money but do have an expensive winter coat that they take a lot of pride in. If you have to have open drinks around the ground there will come a time when someone is going to get a load of coke or fanta all over their coat which will not please them!

god I'm glad those women ain't next to me at the game, I'm usually start about a min into game, against the ref,the other teams player or even having a go at one of our players, but no one has said a word as there are more doing it. But i think that taking your season ticket off you is stealing as you own it no way a steward can take it off you, but have a word with the club and say you got over excited about something and you are sorry.

and if its the players who are sitting on the bench, getting upset of the abuse, tough , ur on great wages, get training better and you might not be on the bench, and if its the players, STOP FUCKING FIGHTING WITH YOURSELVES AT TRAINING
