If this is how the club treat loyal supporters...

What is foul language? I used to referee local games and heard some fairly unsavoury language used. The players swearing then went to their watching wives, girlfriends, parents, children, coaches, teammates and used the exact same language. To them, they were just talking in their normal everyday manner, not particularly meaning to cause anyone any offence.

Technically I could have dismissed them for using foul and abusive language, but I felt this would have been an unfair interpretation of their intentions.

Personally, I never swear, and I do not want my children to be subjected to someone's foul-mouthed tirade during a game. And it isn't easy to ask someone who is very agitated to kerb his language, so I can understand why complaints are made.

My view is that many on this forum and at COMS need to exercise a lot more self-control before they speak or act.
Comments about retribution against stewards ("sending them away in a ******* ambulance"), anti-Semitic posts referring to Spurs fans or the club as "yids", going to the toilets for a crafty cigarette, wishing death to people. None of this is acceptable, and persistent offenders should be sanctioned. It does seem a bit harsh to take such drastic action for a first offence though.

I disagree with all the parts in red.

Spurs fans chant "Yid Army" and refer to themselves as such, I take it you haven't seen City Vs Spurs live often/

I'll let the crafty fags slide as the toilets in 110 are pristine and no one has ever smoked in there.

Oh please God/Allah/5th Dimensional Reptilians, not a'fukinother one.

They call themselves the fkin Yid Army ffs.

Do not resist, warning warning, do not resist, you MUST/WILL come quietly.

edit. Did'nt see your post swp.

The term Yid was adopted to repel the racism and make it less of an insult against Tottenham and it's fans, but teams still use it as a derogatory insult against them, it's racism after all.

Swearing should be stopped also, times have changed after all. Insulting black players, making fun of gays, throwing coins, swearing, hooligamism can go back to the eighties

But i think that taking your season ticket off you is stealing as you own it no way a steward can take it off you, but have a word with the club and say you got over excited about something and you are sorry.

The season ticket is never your property. It remains the property of the club. I can't find the ST terms and conditions online but the normal conditions for a home match ticket include this:

"3.4 The Home Match Ticket will remain the property of the Club at all times and must be produced together with evidence of your identity if required to do so by any official, steward or employee of the Club or any police officer. The Club reserves the right to require the immediate return of the Home Match Ticket at any time."

That's common to virtually all tickets that you will ever purchase.

and if its the players who are sitting on the bench, getting upset of the abuse, tough , ur on great wages, get training better and you might not be on the bench, and if its the players, STOP FUCKING FIGHTING WITH YOURSELVES AT TRAINING

May be better if you stay away from the games...,

This is bang out of order. Before everton the other week they said on the speakers if anyone in the FAMILY stand found swearing will be removed from the stadium

( said nothing about taking your season ticket from you). The family stand is full of children so some parent's may be annoyed with others swearing but you wernt in the family stand so where was your warning. I have a season ticket in 110 so i doubt the stewards would be arsed about our corner but if they can kick you out i wouldn't put it past them to do something stupid again.

Is that true because from what i can remember the Tannoy in the Family stand wasnt working for The Everton or Villa games so how can you actually warn people who cant hear the warnings.

It's all to do with context. I see people write filthy yids, yid scum etc. I don't think there is anything wrong with Yid Army personally.

Nowadays in a politically correct world all throwaway comments are prone to the race card.

I forget if the OP said if he was in the family stand or not. Considering tickets are expensive, we now have to sit, no more racism, soon they'll be no swearing completely.
