if we finished 5th...

I agree to an extent and im not at hughes bandit. I didn't think hughes was the right man for the job like Mancini but the job was a lot more difficult to buy players under Hughes as we had to buy players of that level. Buying bridge etc was just to propel us on our way to the next level. They were short term buys, apart from Tevez, Kompany, De Jong and more who have all turned out very good. Mancini had the players there and had a built up reputation, making us more attractive therefore it was easier to buy the big names like Toure and Silva.
Hughes had to make those buys to put us on the map and build our reputation therefore he bought bad in some cases. RSC was unfortunate, and had we had the Blackburn Santa Cruz would your opinions be different of the signing by now. Santa Cruz under Hughes was brilliant and Bridge at Chelsea was very good, but unfortunately both never worked out. The same can be said about Milner, Kolarov and Boateng though, even though I won't slag them off just yet, ever since they've joined they have looked very poor.

To be fair, the arrogant comment was based on this:

A little over the top, I'm sure you'll agree.

As for our squad being better than United's, I disagree.

Well well agree to disagree .

Evra, Rooney , vidic and that's the lot, man for man. and in terms of reserve teams we are well ahead.

Managers, that's a different kettle of fish of course
I'd swap Rooney for Nani but think you got the other 2 i'd have though.

Rags. Arsenal and now chelsea all have better squads as it stands. Few would disagree with this.

Dd you say you know football but the shit you constantly spout completely dispells this.

Which other united players get into our 11 then?

Of course, that's what forums are about after all. Debating the issues.

Personally I think you could add Ferdinand, Scholes, Nani, Giggs and Berbatov to that equation, but it's all about opinions.

As are those that suggest we should stick with Mancini if we finish outside the top four. No need to say they "make you sick", "know nothing about football", and "live in cloud fucking cuckoo land".

You might not agree with their views, but at least respect them and debate the point rather than ridiculing people as being somehow less knowledgeable than yourself.

Gigs and scholes? Pmsl

Ferdinand 2 years ago but company easy now.

I can't reSpect the view of someone who thinks Mancini should stay if he fails again.

I wouldn't be being true to myself .

It would be one of the worst decisions in the clubs history .

As I recall, we were discussing the merits of City's squad against the other teams currently in the top five. If you think Scholes, Giggs and Ferdinand wouldn't get in our current squad of 25, then I'm intrigued to know who you would pick ahead of them.

If we finish 5th Mancini will be sacked and we'll be looking forward to turnover half of the squad again.

Lucky it won't happen.
