if we finished 5th...

Rags. Arsenal and now chelsea all have better squads as it stands. Few would disagree with this.

Dd you say you know football but the shit you constantly spout completely dispells this.

I can see the argument for them possibly having better TEAMS than us, but not better squads.
We have better players but they have the advantage of having the backbone of their teams together for longer.

I am very disappointed to read all the fans that would sack Mancini (and without hesitation) should the team finish 5th.

After all the praise and confidence the manager has gotten from the fans.

Yes, it would be a major disappointment and I would be pissed but Mancini is still building this club and I believe in him. If we finish 5th I say give him one more year and the support you lot showed not 2 weeks ago.

remember it took Fergie 3+ years to win something. Rarely does a manager come in and win something the first year.

Of course, that's what forums are about after all. Debating the issues.

Personally I think you could add Ferdinand, Scholes, Nani, Giggs and Berbatov to that equation, but it's all about opinions.

As are those that suggest we should stick with Mancini if we finish outside the top four. No need to say they "make you sick", "know nothing about football", and "live in cloud fucking cuckoo land".

You might not agree with their views, but at least respect them and debate the point rather than ridiculing people as being somehow less knowledgeable than yourself.
Gigs and scholes? Pmsl

Ferdinand 2 years ago but company easy now.

I can't reSpect the view of someone who thinks Mancini should stay if he fails again.

I wouldn't be being true to myself .

It would be one of the worst decisions in the clubs history .

# of quality players we could play at any given time that wouldn't KILL us:
1. Hart
2. Given
3. Zabaleta
4. Kompany
5. Kolarov
6. Lescott
7. Richards
8. Kolo Toure
9. Yaya Toure
10. Johnson
11. Milner
12. Barry
13. De Jong
14. Silva
15. Balotelli
16. Tevez
17. Dzeko

these players, Fergie would have no problem starting and they all make tons of appearances each year:
1. Van der Sar
2. Evra
3. Rafael
4. Vidic
5. Ferdinand
6. Evans
7. O'Shea
8. Brown
9. Anderson
10. Park
11. Giggs
12. Scholes
13. Fletcher
14. Carrick
15. Nani
16. Hernandez
17. Owen
18. Rooney
19. Berbatov
20. Valencia
21. Gibson

if you want to stretch out more: Smalling, Obertan, and for the sake of me putting our 2nd keeper in the list, Kuszczak. 24.

24 quality players to our 17. Title-deciding depth. The table as it stands would tell you that.

It's a difficult decision but I'd also lean towards keeping Mancini.

Really, who would guarantee progress? Newsflash to the Mourinho lovers, he is not doing a great job at Real. Not only are they less entertaining than they were, they are worse off than under Pellegrini a year before and Mourinho is causing a lot of tension in the club.

Meanwhile, Louis Van Gaal is dropping his pants in front of his players and showing them his genitilia to prove his point as his Bayern Munich side sit 14pts behind Dortmund in 3rd (Europa League spot).

Hiddink? 3 wins, 3 losses since taking over Turkey.

Sorry but with Injuries and buys that Mourinho never wanted or bought, it's hardly his fault.

I tell you what, all you "finish 5th and stick with bobby" people make me sick .
You don't know anything about football.
You live in cloud fucking cuckoo land.
You absolute dreamers . I'm ashamed to share the same forum as you . I bet you thought pierce and his comedy horse were the answer. I bet you castigated all of us who weren't behind alan ball.
Do you think the sheikh is in this because he felt Tony book wasn't given a fair crack of the whip?
If Mancini doesn't get top 4 he wants fucking shooting with this squad .
Great post Dave, sensible and well argued. Makes those who say we don't debate the issues look stupid and shows we don't have to be abusive bullies to make our point!
Interchangeable really (sorry couldn't resist)

By the way it's" Pearce", and as for those that make you sick for wanting to stick with Bobby if we get 5th well you,ve made it perfectly clear that if we do in fact get 4th or 3rd you,d still want him out..
We seem to back to Dave of old,"if you dont agree with me you know fuck all attitude"..
well having the mindset that if Bobby gets 4th or even 3rd and should still go says excactly the same to me.

I am so glad that some of the arse wipes on here DONT make the decisions at MCFC. if they did we would have a new manager every season until we win something witch would be never.
I dont give fuck how big or good the squad is he still needs time to build a team you would look just like the thick rag twats with the fergie out banner
