No they didn't. If they did, why were they still talking to Mourinho and Hiddink after he was appointed? If either of those two had agreed to join us in 2009 then Mancini would have been given a very nice payoff and thanked for his services.

But I still say they won't sack him unless they feel he can't take us any further and they've got somebody better lined up.
We have been in talks with jomo for over 3 years now on a weekly basis
So i just hope someone makes a decison.

Never in a million years.

He's put us out of the champions league year after year, barely managed to win us the league despite spending astronomically more than everyone else, doesn't know the best team, doesn't know what the fuck to do with Yaya or Tevez or Kolarov, will lose us the league this year, and perhaps most indicative of his staggering stupidity, said Balotelli can become as good as Messi.

He doesn't need time, he needs help.

United, Liverpool and Chelsea have a bigger transfer nett spend than us over the last two years.

I can't see any reason why anyone would not keep Mancini whether we won the cup or not. His achievements since he arrived have been quite simply staggering. The owner saw him as the man best qualified to "take the project forward" and how right they proved to be. Two major trophies in 3 years with a team that seemed incapable of defending when he arrived. Without the lure of CL football he, no-one else, was able to attract the likes Of Silva, Ya Ya, Milner, Kolarov, Balotelli to the club, qualify for the CL and win the cup. Then he took the football world by storm to win the PL, after inspiring the greatest comeback in PL history. If Slur Alex had ever done anything like that... And who was it who warned that last summer was not the time to rest on our laurels, that the squad needed freshening up at least - and the ma he wanted seems to be buying the title back for Slur Alex! He got a 5 year contract last summer. He deserved it then and he deserves it now.

Yeah, i guess E'too left Inter Milan to go to Russia just play for Hiddink and not the £270K a week.

Hulk left Porto just to go to Zenit because Spalleti is the coach not the £140K a week package on the table.

Loic Remy left L'OM for QPR because bent Harry and not the 80-100K a week that was on the table.

Hazzard went to chelsea for RDM and not the £120K a week on the table.

Milner, Silva, Yaya, Kolo, Garcia, Kun, Carlos, Balo, Barry, Nasri, Dzeko came to us for RM and the cash on offer at the time i guess?

Players like Zab has had to run through brick walls to even get a decent contract. Yet, Balo the love child was on way more than Zaba and Komp reportedly.

Listen, if we want to be respected and have some power in the world of football we need to start acting like it. This guy needs to learn fast and change fast or he should be paid off and quick.

We've spoken to him seriously twice. Once when we sacked Hughes, when he turned us down for Real Madrid. And then about 15 months ago when they were looking towards the end of Mancini's contract. I don't know why things turned out the way they did but I can tell you that detailed contract discussions took place.

You know what the real Typical City thing is going to be? He's going to fuck off to AC Milan to be with his "son", and win the CL in the first season...

...after beating us in the semi-finals or some such shit.
