Nip i batted you right off the mancini out thread,
Hears what they think of wenger(the one who you think can save us) on the arsenal forum

http://arsenal-mania.com/forum/viewtopi ... start=1020

No you didn't. I simply got fed up of going in circles. You arrogantly debate like you know better when you absolutely don't. My debates are based on knowledge and what I've seen. You assume and twist rather than battle.

Arsenal fans are paying high ST prices and have quite rightly had enough. However its Kroenke who must go, not the manager.

I expect hyperbole after losing to Blackburn, they don't consider the Bayern match this week in their thoughts obviously. It'd be like Swansea fans moaning about yesterday. Look at the big picture.

By the way, I clearly said if we keep Mancini then he must be here for years. I simply believe there's better out there who I'd favour.

Show me where you pushed me out too. Will make for an easy day blowing you out the water.
So let me get this right.... you think wenger should stay as he hasnt won a trophy in 8 years
And the arsenal fans are wrong for wanting him gone
But you want mancini out for not winning us a trophy in 8 months?

Yes Wenger should stay, Kroenke should go. The can replace Wenger with however they choose, results won't get better as they still sell best talents and have to produce profit end of season.

Arsenal fans are absolutely on the money with being pissed off, Wenger should be abused for not having a backbone and telling them how it is and telling Kroenke to fuck right off. Usmanov is the man (as a City fan I hope Usmanov never gets in and Kreonke stays for years, just like the Glazers at the swamp).

Mancini has a better squad than Arsenal, he has a different set of targets I repeat. I however don't base my judgement of Mancini out because I don't think he's the best man manager, coach (even though Zaba and Kompany have got better, he fails to get the best out of Dzeko and Nasri, at their previous clubs they did better for example) and Europe is a huge obstacle for him (look ar inter).

You champion Mancini, I have absolutely no problem with that. In my opinion the vest views of anybody are for coming from knowledge and experience. If I plan to buy a car and have two cars in mind what better comparison reviews from somebody who's owned both. Morrati employed both Jose and Mancini at Inter, he rates Jose better. What does that tell you when you bleat about Jose? You know better than an employer who's employed both and given both a few seasons so he knows very well what the score is.

Wenger can choose Real, maybe Barca, any national team etc. Is he shit then? Is he crap because he's not won fuck all for 8 years? No, it'd because he's very good at what he does. It's just unfortunate/fortunate (depending on who you support) that he's been fucked over by Kroenke and left out to dry.

Nope.

Progressing past Championship teams only masks our shortcomings.

I actually believe it would be a fitting send off, though, for both Mancini and the club to win it.
Every team has shortcomings.

There was a time not so long ago when instead of brushing good Championship sides apart like Watford and average Championship sides like Leeds apart, we'd go down 0-3 at home.

I'm not expecting anyone to suspend all their critical faculties after any old win, but it strikes me that some fans are overly critical, and made their minds up long ago.

Even accounting for the huge investment, City are ahead of where we expected to be, and it's only because last season's Premiership win boosted expectations to such a stratospheric level that some are blaming the manager for the disappointment over the gap to Utd.

The gap was not inevitable, but there are some matters which are outside a manager's control.

He's like an anchor.
It's obvious that the Club ( especially young players) will not develop while he is in charge
What like Richards and Hart you mean?

Valid point as much as it pains me to say it.

I'd keep him regardless in two full seasons at the club he's won the FA Cup, the Premier League and a Community Shield to boot, that for me is why he should be given a second chance after what would be his first real poor season at the club. I also think had he got the players he actually wanted in the summer (de Rossi, van Persie) we would be walking the title and more than likely still in Europe.

BRILLIANT! We've now got our own Wenger in/out thread.

1. Well based on the reaction on here i suggest we keep him. not because i feel it's the correct decision however, I hope we keep and give him all the players and money he wants, not just this summer but every transfer window from today onwards.

2. Because we need to buy top top quality players who will take our club to next level like De Rossi, RVP, Falcao, Cavani, Isco, Osvaldo, Nasri, Maicon, Garcia, Balo, Kun, Dzeko, Yaya, Silva who all demand top top wages we can scrap any plans of meeting FFP standards because UEFA will not really kick us out of europe really would they.

3. He has won the club 3 trophies and in return he deserves to be given total control of the club and he is never again to be questioned or have a transfer target not purchased.

4. If anyone ever tries to tell him that has to look at the youth players during injuries they should be fired from the club because not one of our youth players are good enough, not even to cover on an emergency.

5. Our club was nothing but a failure until he took over. remember we had never won anything and had no history until he came and made us so called great. not one manager who managed the club previously had ever done anything worth mentioning in his presence.

6. When he is on the touchline shout 'F**K you F**K you' to the players on the pitch when they get a pass wrong that during his playing days he could make without even looking it's simply because he is Italian and it's in his nature.

7. No player is ever to speak about the flaws of the team during post match interviews because they know nothing. they won nothing until he came here, so how dare they ever express concerns or give an honest opinion on the match.

8. Only He as the manager who has won the club trophies and has given us a history can dis-respect club officials (Marwood, wheter we like him or not) who he deems have not been doing their job in public. What a good example he sets to our players and his backroom of staff to follow(but wait, sorry it's ok his Italian it's in his nature).

9. If you think after 2 attempts at the champions league a club like ours can be expected to win matches in that competition and show progress you are crazy and know nothing about football(but Napoli can make a shot of it. Juve after years of regaining their credit to italian football with players that are not better than ours can).

10. If you think Europa Cup is a competition that a club like ours should even hope to make the 1/8 finals after a dodgy champions league attempt you are crazy it's not possible. the team needs to learn to play european football because they don't know this level.

11. but all that said he has achieved good things for this club and the party line is that you must not even question his future because you will be called a RAG. this hurst me to say but they are where they are because they do not and will put up with crap. if they buy shit players guess what they get rid ASAP. if Fergie doesn't have a team good enough to chanllenge he will talk them up and make them believe they are good enough and at least put up a fight until the end. He never ever washes the dirty clothes in public. whether he like David Gill or not he backs him 100% in public. their players know that not one of them is bigger than MAN UTD. That is what wee need here at our club to tell the manager and the players that they work for MAN CITY not us working for them. so our club comes first.

Call me RAG all you like but I have had enough and it's time to blowso i have. I'm sorry for going this far but RM has really flicked my switch.

Your last point, I can see where somebody can offer that viewpoint.

However, too many seem to want to look back and your reference to the days when we used to lose at home to cannon-fodder isn't pertinent in my own book.

Just as those who continue to reference where we used to be, York, away, etc.

We are Manchester City is all but name as a club to those days, in terms of finance, professionalism, fans, the whole nine yards.

The problem on here seems to be more a case of feast or famine. Lose to Southampton, we are shit, beat Leeds, world beaters.

I try to base my own perception and opinions over a longer period, across all competitions, and not just in terms of results, but performances, also.

-- Mon Feb 18, 2013 1:18 pm --

i think we should inform the club to stop showing it off with the PL trophy then

FFS I stick up for Mancini I get shit, I go against him I get shit, I say its up to the club I get shit, I agree with people I get shit
Don't care either way whether the club want to show it off. A trophy which only two clubs can win in a friendly is not a real trophy, it has taken next to zero managerial skill to win it. The Dublin Cup isn't a real trophy either, and nor is the Joan Gamper trophy. Mancini has won two trophies. Hughes has won none.

Stop being so soft you southern fairy.
