If we win FA cup would you keep Mancini?

You do sometimes wonder just how many other club's fan's forums would have a 220 odd page thread questioning whether or not the bloke who won them the Premiership last year should be sacked or not.
I'm guessing not that many.

Absolutely this
It isn't just our fans, it's also most people in football who are speculating about his future.

Which tells you a lot about roberto Mancini and how impressive a character he is.

Football pundits and the media generally will always speculate on the future of high-profile managers if they look like relinquishing a title, unless they are Ferguson, who's record renders him bulletproof.
This happens both here and on the continent.
It doesn't necessarily imply anything about the manager's character, merely that success brings expectations with it.

Well Platt is making all the decisions anyway so doesn't really matter if he stays or not....

And so will fans. So your point that somehow 'only city fans' will do this is a bit of a silly one to be honest.

There's lots of speculation about mancini's future right throughout football, and amongst our fanbase. It's all everyone was talking about on Sunday at the game. He's the bookie's favourite to be sacked for several reasons: city have under performed all season and are hugely ambitious. He was clearly close to the sack last season as he sourced himself another job. His whole tenure has been conducted under a cloud of rumours of player unrest. After this season the question is going to be whether he has enough goodwill with the owners to be given another year.

There's bound to be speculation about his future amongst pundits and fans because of the unique situation he's in. It's no big deal. Rest assured this will track fever pitch if we go out the FA cup.

Luckily for him we've had a superb draw and have an outstanding chance to win it. Will this keep him his job? It might if we beat united to do it.

The main reason he is still short is because there was a bullshit twitter account that had him as getting sacked within the next day, loads fell for it
Every fucker was on at about 20/1 that then tumbled to about 2/1
Bookies have just left his price short as they have liabilities at huge odds.

I wonder how many times Mancini has been bookies favourite to be sacked.

And how much bookies have made on the back of people taking up that bet.

Not dumb bookies.

Ha ha. Yeah right.

Mancini is a best-priced 5/6 on to still be in charge on the first day of next season,so the bookies reckon will be staying,if only marginally, but I would expect those odds to shorten if we do lift the FA cup.
The bottom line is that nobody really knows what stance our owners have at present - probably not even Mancini himself, and they are the ones who will decide his future, rather than the media,so it's all conjecture really.

And didn't Ducado say there was a loveley peace across the forum today.

That lasted for all of 2 hours!!

Mancini is the man for me and will be for a long time.Had my doubts along the way but I am certain he is the right man
