Dear Sir/Madam
I wish to make a complaint about an online article written by one of your correspondents,Mr Alan Green. about Manchester City FC.
This man has a history of making derogatory comments about us,often baseless, and based on nothing more than his own personal agenda.
quote
"You see, I’ve always really liked City as a club but, and this isn’t down to jealousy, they’re rapidly transforming from being one of the country’s best loved clubs into the one that’s most hated: worse than Chelsea under Abramovich and that’s saying something.
Open your paper, listen to the radio or, if you can stand the constant gossiping, switch on to Sky Sports News: City are ‘linked’ with every player under the sun. ‘X’ is your best player, bet City are prepared to pay him oodles more than he’s worth: not necessarily to enhance their team, as much to weaken yours. It borders on the immoral."

This is only one part of this ludicrous piece of non-factual,self opiniated rubbish typical of Mr Green.
Firstly,he refers to "liking" City in the past, but now in his opinion they are rapidly becoming "hated."
He has no facts to back this,he has canvassed no-one.
One notable point is that he makes a special point of telling the reader he's certainly not "jealous."
Especially not as he's a self-confessed Liverpool fan.
Not at all jealous,Mr.Green.
Then he goes on to berate the club for being constantly linked with "x player" on Sky sports-as if it's something they have ultimate control over!
One would suggest prior to the influx of money at Eastlands, Manchester United and Liverpool were linked with "x player"on a far more regular basis.....weren't they,Mr Green?
So far as City looking to sign players soley to "weaken" other teams-again,Mr Green predicatbly gives no example of which specific player he means.
Gareth Barry perhaps,Mr.Green?Again, taken from under the nose of his beloved Liverpool?Notice the pattern forming here?
This piece of non-journalism continues, and of course it couldn't end any other way could it-the old "no history" barb.
This is laughably ignorant from a man who allegedly makes his money as a "sports journalist."
This is a club that holds the record attendance at an English league ground, has won every domestic honour in British football, has won a European trophy,is the fifth best supported club in England.....yet apparently, amazingly, still have "no history."
Ridiculous. The sort of 6th form garbage you would hear from a teenage "top four fan" who thinks football was invented in 1992.
Mr Green is past his sell by date.
His condescending, arrogant manner is boring, predictable and quite frankly, tiresome now.
Surely there's someone else at the BBC with new ideas and less of a personal agenda?
Regards,
RBmk2.
Ave that ,Green.
