Funny isn’t it, I like him generally but thought he was really average today. Very wasteful in front of goal on 2 or 3 occasions and generally thought he was poor.Gundogan is massively underrated. Was fantastic today

1st player he signed for City.Again...today,he showed why.Fantastic performance .Maybe he needed more playing tume all along.
Perhaps Pep was right about choosing him all along.

Played well today. We got him for a steal and it will cost us twice as much to replace him.

Has come into his own in this run in by being given a run of games and being asked to do multiple different jobs. Shown his class, even if he is a step behind where he was when we bought him.
His chips from around the box have added a dimension to our game, especially against the 11 man defence.
Disappointed he didn’t have a decent swing at either chance today and was more intent on trying to curl them into the corners. Sometimes, you just have to have a crack and hope that if it doesn’t go straight in, it’ll get a nick and go in from a deflection.
Best of luck to him in his decision. I understand his position and he knows that he is not going to be a regular starter at City ever again. A free transfer will swell his sign on bonus for his retirement, plus give him the chance to ply his trade on the field until he can’t anymore. If only he had not had such poor luck with injuries, as he could have been an absolutely outstanding player for us, as opposed to the flashes of brilliance we have seen.
