We come back well and win a game. Ederson gifts them the lead but we show lots of spirit, Gundo included. He did his job extremely well as usual It's not his main requirement to be the creator as some suggest. De Bruyne Bernardo and the front players were fairly poor today. Gundo did also set up two late chances for a third goal with two great passes which sterling and Jesus wasted. Generally been excellent for us in 2019.

Thought today he played where you would want him to -outside the box looking to play killer balls or shoot. He was shit today and ended up losing the ball and creating more for them than us-dreadful.

You've got it wrong on this thread, it was Gundog pass that wasted that chance, ffs.

Yeah, the game was there for him today and he let it pass him by. He was the one with the space to make things happen as he was always unmarked just outside the box, but did nothing with that. Others were shit as well, but he was the one who was best placed to make a difference with the way they flooded the box

Nothing to do with the 10 defenders he had to thread the ball through in the 18 yard box then?

This guy gets slagged off every week it seems and you know what... he's not a bad player. Pep seems to think so anyway 'cos he keeps picking him..

There were 1 or 2 others in front of him for getting hooked today who managed to finish the game..

He's not a bad player but he's not a particularly good one either. If we were to upgrade a position in the summer his would be a prime candidate.
Comments like this make me realize how many of you are so entitled. He is a starter for almost every other top team and is a squad player for us.

You want a new #8 in the summer? Foden and Bernardo are not playing much in midfield then.

You want a new #6?... We just bought one named Rodri, he is still alive you know.

Seems a few people have very, very short memories any time one of the small selection of regularly criticised players has a good game. Usually always off the back of playing weak opposition as well.
Give examples of big games he was bad in playing the 6.

No need for all the whining. Just produce evidence. The list of his good games against elite teams have been given to you earlier.

Do us all a favor and give us your list of big games he sucked in playing the 6. :)

Gundogan was no worse the KDB and Merlin today but i dont see posters criticising their performances to the same extent , we have all gathered Gundogan is the whipping boy for some on here , but its getting tiresome the same names the same old shit with no facts to back it up. Gundogan has been our most consistent midfielder this season and Pep appears to agree , because he starts nearly every game , i will back Pep's judgement.
