Ilkay Gundogan

Bravo
Fernandinho - Kompany - Stones - Kolarov
Gundogan
Sterling - Silva - KDB - Sane
Aguero

Formation is obviously fluid, but those are our best 11 IMO.

I'd be very happy if Pep somehow finds a way to graft them all in. And if he is to do that, the line up would be pretty much the one you have highlighted but personally i'd go for Clichy rather than Kolarov

Watching more of his compilations and I haven't been this excited for a new signing since Fernandinho, this guy is gonna push us up another level.

I'd forgotten how hard Zaba hit him in that game, probably didn't do that back issue any favours :D

For the sake of our balance, maybe
Last year people has been shouting to drop KDB too for the sake of 'balance'. Remember last year when he was injured from Jan to April, how did our 'balanced' team performed?

I'm sorry but this argument makes no sense whatsoever. What balance is this that you're talking about?

I always thought gundogan would be at the base of a 3 but reading a few posts on here it seems people think he will play in 1 of the 2 advancedd positions?

Time will tell, according to Ilkay he was told by Guardiola he wanted to bring him in because he wanted a player like him, that suggests to me that he wants Gundogan for the role Fernandinho is currently playing.

As brilliant as Dinho has been in that role so far I'd also like to see him in one of the more advanced roles, I think he'd be devastating in attack, much like he was at Donetsk.
