He was right to rest players and yes, there is an injury list but a trophy is a trophy and what he sent out was not so much a 2nd or 3rd string team but more of a 4th string team...I'm gutted.
I'm sure our owner would have LOVED a day out at Wembley...

Can't even face reading the thread, all I will say is unbelievable.

i agree with the op.how can we as a football club afford to be so arrogant in any competition especially at a ground where we dont do so well at.i forgot our trophy cabinet was full to busting.the whole country wants us to fail and mancini does nothing to help the cause.get martin o'neill in now!
 
Get a Grip for FFS, yes its a bad result, the people who travelled have the biggest beef, but the bigger picture needs to be looked at.

Injuries, up and coming fixtures player development all have to taken into consideration here do we want to further our ambition in Europe and the premier league or the league cup?

Mancini may have got the team selection wrong, at half time we were 1-0 up!

Onwards and upwards, the Chelsea game now with their injuries is now his focus.

That is the type of game that he should be measured on as to how we have improved.
