ill for Christmas

Was at the docs today and he’s given me antibiotics for my cough. I’ve decided I won’t drink over Christmas and my birthday as that wouldn’t be good
Start the antibiotics in January.

I just drunk loads of cider and gins and I am feeling ok.
And I am about to get banned off the scouse vermin cunts chucking shit thread.

Ps. Love to mrs drone :)

Do paracetamols and nurofen actually work ?
I only ever take them if I can’t stand the pain any longer and don’t take them every 4-6 hours like they say you can.

I find them must useful when pain is very bad once or twice a day.

Paracetamol also regulate body temperature very well.

Who else has got the cold/flu bug ?
Think I’ve got a chest infection also, tried doctors for over an hour and given up.
Sat in bed, shivering cold with a painful cough. Xmas ruined for me.
No sympathy required.
Finished work last Friday and been in bed ever since. Antibiotics and San Miguel.
Missed the match last night, first home game I’ve missed when I’ve been in Manchester since 1989. Gutted.
Know loads with chest / throat infections. Time and sleep. And night nurse. And San Miguel

Been full of a cough and cold the last few days and last night barely slept as I was aching and couldn't get comfy in bed. I feel a bit better today but not 100%. Done a Covid test and that's negative but I know LOADS of people who are ill with it.

I've had tablets, cough medicine, Lemsip - the lot - and nothing is shifting it. I'm tempted to just neck a few beers tonight and see if that helps because nothing else is.
San Miguel and night nurse. Won’t cure you but you’ll get a great night’s kip.

You must continue to drink. Nothing worse than waking up knowing that’s the best you’re gonna feel all day.
