I'm ashamed to be a blue tonight

I am never been ashamed to be a Blue.
I did not boo tonight although I am gettign a little fed up paying all this money travelling to all these grounds and seeing us lose week in week out. With from what I can see a pretty decent squad of players. Everton, Hull, Rags now Stoke.
Thank god its a laugh when we travel a good drink and a good day out. Because right now we have to make sure you have a good day out until about 20 minutes into the match becuase it is constantly ruined after that.
Mancini - give him time? If I thought he was here for the long run then I agree. From what I read and see he is here till end of season as a caretaker thats it. so let him do what he can till May.
Do I think he is doing a good job - NO.
Do I think he is doing a bad job - Not sure yet.
All I know is I could have taken over the team and just as easily had us beaten in the semis, beat Scunthorpe and get beat by Stoke next round. My grandma could have done that with that.
Adrian Heath could have doen that.
I could not understand sticking on Sylvinhio with 13 minutes left 2 goals behind. However I did not know who was left on the bench.
I always get behind the lads and I am not saying Mancini out. I am thinking season of transistion with managers and players.
City are so unpredictabel we could go to Chealsea and turn them over. Don't expect it but we could.
Roll on the summer an dget your passports ready for next season be that Barcelona or more expected Second tier of the Europe. P.S I had a right laugh in that second tier Eurpoa cup. Could be worse, could be a hell of a lot worse. Future is bright the future is Blue.

I can take people having different opinions no problem, it's what football is all about. If some people don't like Mancini then fair enough, that's your view but what i saw tonight at the end was disgusting and i don't want any further part in it if it carries on.

I thought we were unlucky tonight, we played allright and created 16 chances with 6 on target accoring to mcfc.co.uk, alot better than in previous games. We had some great chances with Bellamy and Santa Cruz (who by the way, the reactions to both misses from the fans frustrates the fuck out of me, one can't do right for doing wrong even though he's yet to perform for two months "Unlicky bellers, head up" and the other i thought was great when he came on gets slagged to fuck "fuck off santa cruz you fucking waste of space)

We defended well and if we had a keeper who came out for balls and demanded his box they would never have gotten that all important 2nd goal.

But the scenes i saw at the end disgust me and makes me ashamed to be a city fan.

Fucking idiots calling Mancini a wanker, c-unt, twat, knobhead, giving him the wanker signs and the v's, ok it was only 30 or so of them but they are the reason this club is a joke. He saw it all and fuck knows what he must be thinking.

These type of fans and the ones on here who are calling for his head after 3 fucking months in the job without a summer transfer window are the reason this club is viewed as a laughing stock and a circus.

So you get your wish, Mancini goes, next man comes in, then what? Do you only give him 3 months and expect instant success with another mans team? Then what happens when you don't and a new man comes in? What happens then? Another 3 months and if he doesn't deliver us instant success does he go? It will go on and on and 35 will become 36, 37 and then 40 and then no fucker will touch the job as whats the point in coming here when you have to deliver success 3 months into the job or you are on your bike and your career takes a setback.

Not only that but then you get some set of c-unts who then givce abuse to Lescott who i thought was outstanding once again, it's beggers beleife and i'm fucking sick of it.

I'm fucking sick of it, if Mancini gets us 4th which i beleive he should and then gets laid off then i'm fucked if i'm shelling out £500 to fucking rebuild yet again for the 20th time in 10 years.

Martin O'Neill - 4 years
David Moyes - 8 years
Arsene Wenger - 13 years
Alex Ferguson - 24 years

All managers at football clubs with stabilty and a plan and realistic fans.

Stuart Pearce, Sven Goran Eriksson, Mark Hughes, Roberto Mancini all have been manager at this circus in the time Martin O'Neill has rebuilt Villa and given them stability.

Feel us City fans have been hard done by over the years by those in the boardroom, i think you all need to look closer to home.

There's two season tickets up for grab if the twats at this club get their way because i'm not sticking round to see them abuse and call for the head of the next manager's head when he hasn't given them the league title in November after 3 months in the job. Fuck that.

don't let a couple of idiots spoil your fun pal every club has them i hear united fans calling for fergie's head after a bad result saying he has lost the plot its just a minority and all managers no this its just part and parcel of football 99.9 percent of our fans will suport mancini and the players whether they think they are up to the job or not you just have to ignore the idiots that can't handle there drink and think it is clever and hard to flick the v's to OUR player and OUR manager city needs suporters like yourself not the moran's so don't give up on your club because of a few idiots CITD

That was a really good post. I agree 100%. Our supporters are going to turn us into a laughing stock.

Mancini has inherited somebody else's team and generally speaking, he's done just as well as Hughes...if not slightly better with Hughes' team.

I thought we did ok last night. We had more than enough chances to comfortably win the game, and with 11 men on the field i believe we would have. The sending off was a disgrace and any further ban will be even more of a disgrace. We just didn't get the rub of the green tonight. The scenes at the end were a joke.

Mate you're not alone in being angry and dismayed at a massive proportion of our "fellow blues"! I'm ashamed of being associated with idiots like this! whether they are entitled to their opinion or not, they are still Rag-like tossers!!

The problem with having billionaire owners is that they want instant success and are not prepared to give managers time to provide it. How long was Hughes given before they threw the towel in (pun intended!) 18 months? Ok he wasn't their man but do you honestly think that Mankini will see out the summer if he doesn't get 4th place?

Whatever happens, happens. If we play shit, we play shit. But ffs PLEASE can everyone just get behind the team, no matter what happens. We don't make the decisions the chairman and owners do. Lets live up to the name of best fans in the world.

this forum only refects real life - most of us doing and saying stuff we have no real idea about! For mei am really impressed by Bobby Manc. I have taken the time to look back at his career, the press reports from when he was a player and also from his time at Inter. Essentially, this man iis the perfect manager for MCFC, it they are prepared to give him a real run - and that is at least 3 seasons. What I fear is that petulant twat Cooke from screwing it up for us and jumping ship with a new manager every 6 months to keep his employers happy.
Mancini was a great player, incredibly consistant, loyal, hard working, stable and fantastic team player. At Inter, irrespective of him being handed a title because of the fixing scandal, was exacly the same - respected by all and players really wanted to play for him. He was thrown out due to lack of success in the champions league and their desire to do so - same as abramovic et al.
Just please give him some time and a chance to build and create his OWN team with his own vision. Apart from Andy Johnson and to some extent Viera (i have my doubts about viera), the current squad is not his own team and for sure, at least 80% of the players we bought under Hughes, would not have been targets of Mancini. The likes of Lescot, Barry, Ade, Robinho Toure and Santa Cruz are just not in the style and flow of the way he likes to work. I am not suggesting that these players are crap - but all means. Lescot was one of the best players last night, but he lacks vision an awareness.
So, an appeal to the suit at MCFC. Give mancini time and space (and a new fucking scarf!) and allow him to create, build and form a team in his own style and vision. I beleve we have the next Morinio, Oniel, Moyes, Ferguson etc already in Mancini
