I'm ashamed to be a blue tonight

I don't post very often, but this is an excellent post.

A very frustrating evening especially conceding from a Delap throw-in.

Living in the USA I only get to see the games on TV but from what I've seen we have very little understanding between the players and midfield is basically non-existent. I did not really see the game as the internet feed kept crashing but I have some hope as it seems we played better than of late.

With the players we have we should be able to beat Stoke and it seems there is something wrong with team morale.

It will be interesting to see the reaction of owners & fans, if as I believe we end up mid-table by the end of the season.

I can take people having different opinions no problem, it's what football is all about. If some people don't like Mancini then fair enough, that's your view but what i saw tonight at the end was disgusting and i don't want any further part in it if it carries on.

I thought we were unlucky tonight, we played allright and created 16 chances with 6 on target accoring to mcfc.co.uk, alot better than in previous games. We had some great chances with Bellamy and Santa Cruz (who by the way, the reactions to both misses from the fans frustrates the fuck out of me, one can't do right for doing wrong even though he's yet to perform for two months "Unlicky bellers, head up" and the other i thought was great when he came on gets slagged to fuck "fuck off santa cruz you fucking waste of space)

We defended well and if we had a keeper who came out for balls and demanded his box they would never have gotten that all important 2nd goal.

But the scenes i saw at the end disgust me and makes me ashamed to be a city fan.

Fucking idiots calling Mancini a wanker, c-unt, twat, knobhead, giving him the wanker signs and the v's, ok it was only 30 or so of them but they are the reason this club is a joke. He saw it all and fuck knows what he must be thinking.

These type of fans and the ones on here who are calling for his head after 3 fucking months in the job without a summer transfer window are the reason this club is viewed as a laughing stock and a circus.

So you get your wish, Mancini goes, next man comes in, then what? Do you only give him 3 months and expect instant success with another mans team? Then what happens when you don't and a new man comes in? What happens then? Another 3 months and if he doesn't deliver us instant success does he go? It will go on and on and 35 will become 36, 37 and then 40 and then no fucker will touch the job as whats the point in coming here when you have to deliver success 3 months into the job or you are on your bike and your career takes a setback.

Not only that but then you get some set of c-unts who then givce abuse to Lescott who i thought was outstanding once again, it's beggers beleife and i'm fucking sick of it.

I'm fucking sick of it, if Mancini gets us 4th which i beleive he should and then gets laid off then i'm fucked if i'm shelling out £500 to fucking rebuild yet again for the 20th time in 10 years.

Martin O'Neill - 4 years
David Moyes - 8 years
Arsene Wenger - 13 years
Alex Ferguson - 24 years

All managers at football clubs with stabilty and a plan and realistic fans.

Stuart Pearce, Sven Goran Eriksson, Mark Hughes, Roberto Mancini all have been manager at this circus in the time Martin O'Neill has rebuilt Villa and given them stability.

Feel us City fans have been hard done by over the years by those in the boardroom, i think you all need to look closer to home.

There's two season tickets up for grab if the twats at this club get their way because i'm not sticking round to see them abuse and call for the head of the next manager's head when he hasn't given them the league title in November after 3 months in the job. Fuck that.

you sir make a good point (y)

i think we played really well last night and if we had taken our chances we could of won by a couple!!

Sadly it wasn't to be an the Ady sending off turned the game in Stokes favour..... that's football.

I believe Manchini is the man for the job and needs time, ppl come on here an slag players constantly which i dont understand.

We are still in a brilliant position in the league and our season isn't over, we've waited this long a lil bit longer isn't going to hurt us!!!!

We need to get behind our team and show our full support!!

Once again another top post IP, you're getting good at this.

All i will say is, there are still thousands of Blues who don't behave like fuckin idiots and heap abuse on the players and management. You'll find a lot of them sitting nursing a pint whilst slowly shaking their heads.
The gobshite naysayers can all be found stood at the bar mouthing off about how shit we are too anybody within earshot.

As for the hysterical jessies on t'internet, well that's another story.

He does indeed make a very good point , and in an ideal world managers WOULD be given time .....

but it's the fact that Mourinho , armed with loads of cash , at Chelsea brought them almost instant sucess that is the 'bugbear' now ...... we all know , of course , that he simply 'enlarged' on Ranieris excellent squad to schieve it , but people only see the trophy achievements .......

and it's the huge input of 'cash' that won't allow any under achieving City manager forever to match that success ......... times , unfortunately , have changed!

Totally disagree!!!!!!
Calling the manager and slagging the players off HELPS the club and raises the players spirit and moral. I personally feel it is a good way of showing your support. Fook all that "singing", that wont help anyone.
Im not happy with challanging for 4th. If we are not 6 points clear by the second game of the season the manager HAS to be sacked! FACT!

What has happened at City.

Who was at the play off final against the Gills???? Who can remember what the atmosphere was like when we was 2-0 down????? I can tell you now, there was no booing, calling the team/manager or anything. All that happened were 40,000 SUPPORTERS (bar the unliky bastards who left and missed it) stepped up and got behind the blues big time. This is what we need at city again.
Dont get me wrong, i know that when things were bad in league 2 people slagged off the team when things werent going our way. And it was not aqll singing every week home and away, but the situation we are in now is a massivly different. we are now challenging for top 4 for fucks sake!!!!! We should be glad of where we are and enjoying it.

£100.00 them last night were the same people who wanted Huighes out. We'll if that is the case, you have made you bed....

No idea if this makes sence but rant over.

An excellent post.....and I for one thought we were gonna destroy Stoke in the first half.

I believe this squad is more than capable of delivering and believe that next season when mostof them will have been together for a while we will see them start to reap benefits.

I would like to see the manager bring in a top class creative midfielder in the summer which imo will make a heck of a difference.

Lets get real here .....we are 5th in the league with a game in hand .....had 2 decent runs in the cup, Champions league football imo has only become a target for us this year because of top 4 teams dropping loadsd of points in comparison with other seasons.

So all in all we are in a fantastic position to achieve and all within in the timescales originally posted in the 10 year plan........

Completely agree agree with OP

I was ashamed too. The abuse some of the fans were dishing out was disgusting, and won't help anything. The little 16 year old rats didn't help by singing Mancini out on the back of the bus. This new wave of idiots is scary.

Love te club, hated some of our fans last night. Get a grip

(the liverpool game was the worse performance i've ever seen in 32 years).

So you didn't see Brighton last season, Forest last season, or, let me pick my favourite since we came to CoMS, Leicester a few seasons back 0-3.

Sunday was nowhere near by a squillion light years the worst in 32 years.

Immaculate Pasta, you have no need to be ashamed of other people's poor behaviour. They are the ones who are shameful. They are the ones who bring shame to the club and no matter how long they have been 'supporting' City, I think their tenure is up and they should go.

They need to realise quickly that their opinions are the last to be considered by people who make the decisions.

I expect Mancini and the squad to be down at Carrington to be preparing for Saturday despite the antics of a tiny minority who would spoil it for others.
