I can see your point, but as the most successful club of that period, you'd expect them to concede less, surely?
I don't have the figures for every club, United's figures were readily available under the heading "Least penalties given during the 1992 - 2007 Premiership Years". It was indicating that Unite dhad the least cumulative penalties, home and away, over that period. It was then split down further into 12 at home and, I believe, 53 away. So, although I don't know the exact figures for Liverpool, Chelsea etc I do know they conceded more than United.
Anyway, for me it isn't so much the fact that it's less than everyone else (although that's bad enough) it's just how low the figure is. It indicates that, at some point, as a minimum, United went 3 whole seasons without committing even 1 foul in their own area. That just beggars belief.
