Not a town or in the UK, but West Virginia is te answer you're looking for. 2 million people, 3 last names. Never, ever, in a million years, set foot in that godawful place.
That's quite apt. I don't know if you know this but one of United's songs is to the song Take Me Home, Country Roads, which is about West Virginia.

Match made in heaven right there

So after reading many post's in this thread, what constitutes "inbred" for most of you is Poverty.

Snobby Bastards

my hometown has took a bit of stick (quite deservably) but the people who let it down are thos on the council estates at the bottom of town.

i'm very much working class and i'm no snob but it's a fact, there's so many idle piss cans who live on them it's untrue.

not all of them which is what i must say but my area of town is a much better place to live because of the people.

btw i live in a terraced house.

Cool, I must add to this that I know of many "idle piss cans" who live in quite affluent areas, and rather than living in a council house they just sponge off their parents in nice privately owned homes.

Many good, hard working people live on council estates.

it is far easier for us to pidgeon hole everybody I suppose....

well i agree but i was talking about the council estates in my home town.

the town gets a bad reputation and it's down to the two estates and they are the ones in the pubs (which is why a lot go to neighbouring towns), i've got mates from there and i know a few decent people from there but in general thats where the rep comes from as there's a lot of smack heads and lazy twats.

not dissing council estates or people off them because my family down the line came from them but there's a lazy underclass occupying the two in new mills.

To be fair though, I think most of us on here live on council estates and 'poverty' cannot be used in the same context as some rwandan homeless child can it. To be honest, those who can be in 'poverty' on a council estate with money paid to them by the state only have themselves to blame.

There us no excuse for anyone to use the 'poverty' card in thus country. Those who do say they are in poverty are those with 11 kids, each with ps3's and 59" plasmas on the walls. Only when the word 'jobs' or politics gets mentioned, so does 'poverty'.

Crawley is a mighty fucked up place, known as `creepy crawley' by it's neighbours.
Rexburgh Idaho is a mormon in- breeding town the like of which you'll rarely see. the church bought all the liquor licences so there's no where to buy a drink 18000 pious fucks!!!
Selma Alabama is a wonderful place too
