the thing with new mills is, it's like 2 different towns, those on the hill and those in the valley.

the ones in the valley are the scruffy inbreds, us on the hill are quite nice.

I must admit, Bacup is a strong candidate. As is its Welsh equivalent, Holyhead, effectively what Bacup would be if it had a harbour.

Then there's Cowpe, near Bacup. If the UK did internal exile, that'd be the place to send the buggers.
