So true @kaz7 ...the greatest success is shown when you get people comparing salaries...the line of, they dont deserve that when nurses, teachers, firemen etc get X amount....It has become a race to the bottom rather than a race to the top , or all supporting each other and being happy for those that earn more....(up to a certain level)
And then, as with the whole Ukraine situation, you realise that its the media that has the power in pushing whatever narrative suits them.

What I do find perplexing is people are still spending money, going to pubs/restaurants spending a fortune, going on holidays that are not cheap and still using there cars, the roads are worse than ever.

I am not advocating people not enjoying themselves, far from it but some people are just not cutting back seemingly?
My change is cut my use of a car and work more from home and no holidays.
Are people just using credit cards?

that’s always a frustrating argument that gets put across often on fB and the like.

why are they striking? they’re already well paid. nurses and firefighters haven’t had a pay rise for years.

do these people expect everyone else to just wait around until nurses etc get a pay rise/catch up? That will be a very long wait if so
